BURN moments from challenges and trade tickets would be the best thing TS could do at the moment. The problem is , users that left might still never come back.

Dapper , you make so much money, why not just burn moments and let users make some money sometimes.

Some BS in there though about Full-Team sets. He said intent was not to drop moments to destroy full-team sets, but they clearly stated in the blog they wanted full-team sets to be very challenging. Quite the contradiction.

Also, looks like loot packs might be here to stay, but they plan on revising them. They like the packs, so if they can make them work, where we are pleased with them, they plan too. For Ex: Dropping less packs to increase odds of getting good moments etc.

Have to give TS and the hand full of whales credit. They have figured out how to get out the money thru 1/1 auctions and benefits.

SMART, 1/1 auctions takes money out of the market without benefiting the normal users. Benefits only Dapper and the whales. Also good marketing material.

Have any of you benefited from he 1/1 auctions other then looking at it? LOL. Genius move by Dapper for the handful of friends on TS.

Something really simple to make common moments moving in the market would be complete a set and burn it to get a random special version of a base moment limited to 100. With 300 moments, that would be 30k complete base sets burnt right there.

I am considering buying one for investment purposes. I figure I would go at least once over 5 years, and sell the rest.

if i had millions stuck in dapper credit, i would buy one and sell off what i dont use . It is a decent deal for the .00001% handful of users. Very good way to pull money out of the marketplace.

So, TS will be allowing users to use trade tickets for new packs with new moments.
The LE moment in these packs will be Fresh Threads Part. 2.
Also, they are removing traded in moments from circulation, which i believe they will be burning them? Not positive, but the second links goes into details.

This is a start for them IMO, so I hope they keep listening to make changes.

My quick reaction to the trade ticket thing is that removing supply is good, but it seems like the damage has already been done.

Also I wasn't sure what happens if an LE moment gets traded? Does that reduce the supply? Probably not a likely scenario, but still interested to know.

And I feel like holding my 60ks is a better move than trading them in as some of these sell for more than $2 eventually. And 10 trade tickets for a $19 pack seems like a rip off.

Damn. Evan Mobley crashes the weekend challenge. I have 2 Mobley moments but you need the Top Shot Debut /4000 for the challenge. As a Heat fan, I wanted the Bam moment.

Of everyone mentioned, I like Edwards the best. He is a great player & has the charisma to be popular & very marketable.

I debated the AD debut & even MPJ once, but their injury history made me avoid those moments.

I'm looking for players that'll headline the NBA(after Giannis) for the next decade. There are a handful of players that can do that. Embiid and Jokic are great but centers dont normally get the love they deserve. Tatum seems to be off the radar lately. I'm going with the same top dogs of Anthony Edwards, LaMelo, Ja, Zion and Luka. Antman could fall a tier below those guys marketing wise but if he keeps working, his HL reel should be pretty sick.

Anything that gets traded in reduces the supply

I like the trade tickets for pack idea but honestly it feels way more like a band aid than an actual solution. Doesn’t really fix anything in the long term but it at least stops the supply bleeding for a smidge of time

Is TS burning now?

Cause up to this point, all the trade tickets were recycled . So supply still stayed the same. TS took out 400,000 moments until they repack them again.



Topps Burned on challenges. That was very interesting.
