Can we make a short discussion here about collecting Shohei Ohtani in dodgers jersey since this is his first year as a Dodgers.

1. What cards are you looking for? Are u a big fan of heritage blue sparkle (jersey color match), etc..

2. Is there a value in those type of cards for long term?

How would you rank them?

I really like those Depth of Darkness cards...and I despise the Dodgers.

You have to respect and balance the print run/condition qualities appropriately. Hard to not gem a sapphire if you practice basic submission heigene. I'm not paying for that

Completely agree... it's exciting because they're new and different but we've got TEN YEARS worth of Ohtani Dodgers cards on the way.

1. The Heritage card is nice, but I don't know how much value it'll hold down the line. I am interested in his first Dodgers auto.

2. Yes, but I would greatly focus on acquiring anything numbered over base.

That's because people posting ebay links don't know or don't remember that they need to take the "www." out of the link or the forum software will screw it up.

As an alternative to the copy/paste method, you can also click the link and then when you get to the error page, delete all the garbage that got added to the URL, from "&mkrid" through to the end.

Agree in general with this.

That said, I'll be honest, the 55 Bowman Anime is definitely a card I want (ideally some numbered version but we'll see how the market plays out).
