Oh Apple thanks for joining the party.

Hopefully Amazon is about to follow.

I bought an AMZN $3470 7/2/21 call for $281 yesterday and sold at the open for $360.

Same call is at $1200 right now

This is one of my favorites. This is a staple of the portfolio of most professional money managers. You were the same guy that mentioned DPZ a few weeks back too, right? That is another staple.

If I am right and you are that guy, you have incredible taste in highly favored companies.

Indeed, couple months actually. It felt like I was posting too much about it but thought the drop was a great opportunity.

Entered three around the same time of late February / early March and luckily seems like I caught each of their bottoms: DPZ, COST, LULU. One is not like the others but thought it was a decent risk with LULU under $290 and has treated me well.

Noticed that Ark bought DOCU today in the $280s. Didn’t they sell back in the low $200’s?

Head scratcher there. Love the company, hate the valuation up here.

Feeling a little cocky so picked up 100 DMYQ at $9.86. I have done really well with DMYD (which became GENI) and I have high hopes for DMYI (which is to become IONQ). Feel somewhat confident in the DMY group finding a decent target for DMYQ.
DMYQ announced it is going to be Planet Labs (a satellite startup). Shares are up 6% in premarket to $10.40.

Looks like it’s going to be a red day S&P
and Nasdaq down around 1.5% in premarket.

Market needs a healthy pullback. Seems like it’s only been up for weeks now

Just dropped off my car at the mechanic after someone ran into me, finally had a few minutes to log in my accounts and got hit with the double whammy.

Fun account barely down on the bright side.

APYP on fire again today. I've been successfully swing trading this one for a few months now.

How is everyone feeling about the overall market after a couple of red days? Correction looming?

Compare it to the vix. If you aren't well versed on this correlation, watch Cramer's piece on it yesterday. Today was a healthy pull back but it is hardly the canary in the coal mine. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by a couple red days. We/I have been pretty much green the past three weeks.

You have some killer picks, but telling anyone to watch Cramer.

Cramer is very educational depending on the segment. A lot of his more market related segments and seasonally ones are worth watching. I mean if he bought everything he said was a buy he would own everything in the market. I was talking about this with someone the other day. Many of the people on CNBC are incredible smart and know their stuff. They all have different benchmarks, trading styles, goals etc. You can take it all with a grain of salt, but there is good info from many of those people.

When Cramer says buy, you sell.

Thank you for the compliment.

In terms of Cramer, his stock picks are misleading. His insight of market mechanics is pretty solid. I don't take his stock-specific segments seriously but he does a great job of getting the unfamiliar fairly familiar with how the market works.

In terms of the CNBC crowd, Joshua Brown from Rithholz is the guy to listen to. The options brothers are good too if you play options but Joshua Brown is an A+ money manager with an excellent track record.

I was just going to mention Josh Brown and his YouTube show The Compound. Likeable dude with solid technical takes. I’m following several stocks from his WL.

Those were the 3 I had in mind when I typed up my post. They’re all very clear in their strategies and plans when talking about anything which is great. The Najarians do a great job of explaining the options side.

I’ll throw this out there if anyone was ever interested in it. Unusual_Whales on Twitter offers a service that gives the unusual options activity kind of like what the Najarians do. You have to know how to use the info but you can easily make the $38 a month price off it.

Quiet on the futures front.

I am not getting the warm-and-fuzzies heading into earnings season. I am putting together a compelling flight to cash and safety for about 30% of our overall portfolio. It will be easier with everyone on board, but the majority will work.

Big tech and overall market has seen a huge run up possibly due to earnings expectations?? Maybe they flop and big tech finally goes down which I hope not as it’s a large majority of my portfolio hahah.
