Very interesting rules for these auctions:

In order to ensure that you are prepared for the auctions, please read the following:
Must sign in to Dapper account or Top Shot account in order to join the auction.
Dapper account identity verification must take place prior to signing into the auction and placing bids. If you have already verified your identity for your Top Shot account or Dapper account in the past, you can disregard this step.
Dapper Balance is the only currency for bidding in the auctions.
Load up your Dapper Balance before bidding in an auction.
Email deposits@meetdapper.com to have your deposit limits increased.
Your max bid = your Dapper Balance amount.
During an auction, the Dapper Balance amount in which you placed your bid will be placed on hold.
If you're outbid, your Dapper Balance will be released immediately.
If you're the auction winner, payment will be collected immediately after the auction ends.
The highest bidder at the end of each of the 30 auction periods will win a 1 of 1 NBA All-Star VIP Pass NFT.
There is 1 NBA All-Star VIP Pass for each of the 30 NBA teams. Each team is its own set and each set only has 1 NFT.
The 1 of 1 NFT will be minted and sent to your NBA Top Shot and Dapper collection if you win the auction.
Auctions last for 7 days (168 hours) unless a new highest bid is placed in the final 10 min.
A new highest bid placed with under 10 minutes remaining will extend the auction end time by an additional 10 minutes.
Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted.
If two bids of the same amount are placed at the exact same time and both show up in the bid history, the bid processed first (determined by its database identifier) will be considered the valid bid.
$10,000 is the minimum bid to start the auction. Bids must be at least $100 more than the current highest bid.
Starting Feb 23, 1 auction per day will go live at 5pm PST. Each auction will end 7 days later (168 hrs later).
Each day, for 30 straight days, 1 NBA All-Star VIP Pass NFT auction will go live.
There will not be a “buy for'' price. To guarantee ownership, the user must have the highest bid when the clock expires.
If you are the highest bidder during an active auction, you will receive an email as soon as someone else places a higher bid. When an auction concludes, you will also receive an email if you won.
Bidding history will be displayed at all times, both during and after auctions.
Countdown clock and current high bid will be displayed at all times.
If you are the current high bidder in an auction, the auction site will have text that says “You're the high bidder!” underneath the current bid below the countdown clock.
Once an auction ends, payment will be collected for the winning bid immediately and your NBA All-Star VIP Pass NFT will be minted and sent to your account.
In the event that an NFT does not have a minimum bid of $10,000 and does not sell, the top 3 bidders of every NFT that sold in all other auctions will be eligible to receive unsold NFTs. Bidders who finished in the top 3 for all NFT auctions that resulted in a sale will be eligible to be chosen at random to receive any unsold NFTs.

My thoughts:
None of these will go unsold at a $10,000 starting bid. There are a ton of Dapper millionaires that will go wild for these. The values of the event are probably $10K/year. So I would expect, at the very least, the cheapest any of these will sell for is $50K.

No shenanigans in these auctions. Only verified bidders, with the needed Dapper funds to bid, and the funds are locked up until you're outbid. Once the auction ends, they immediately transfer your winning bid out of your account. Auction houses could learn something here.

Also, since these are worth 25,000 Collectors Score each, that means that 30 people could go straight to the premium queue. But it's probably already people that have that high a CS.

Or.... NBA players could drive these to the moon. TopShot did get them onto the site and verify their accounts.

I dont go into Ferrari dealership , dont even know what they cost nowadays. Not even on my radar, i am too poor.

But that's kind of how this stuff works. If you're investing on bottlenecks, you have to understand that you have to sell them while they're still bottlenecks.

I have a throw down & Jalen Green. I'd have to buy an obi toppin at $17, Cole Anthony at $3 & Juan at whatever price his rim shaker is when they open up selling.

I'm actually happy with the new releases because some of the bottlenecks have been killing me. With the Rising Stars I got a Suggs, Giddey, Ayo, and some others that were hundreds of dollars, and will be getting the Mobley reward soon.

So with the rim shakers set, they gave the moment to people who bought something from the MP between 2/1-2/19 or bought a starter pack & the total # for all 3 moments was around 80K.

Not sure how many of those were new accounts, but that data should give us an idea of engaged users on the platform. If I were TS, i'm not sure if I see this is a positive or negative.

Approx 10% of all packs released are held back for customer service, which includes future giveaways on site and gifts to personalities and movers/shakers. They're very transparent about that in the blog posts and pack listings, where they'll post something like "175,000 out of 200,000 packs available for sale; remainder held for CS."

The funny thing is if people actually read the blogs fully, they would have been aware that early last week they discussed the airdrop of rim shakers was the Monday after. Thus if you had a Jalen bottleneck, you had plenty of time to sell it. Especially when you saw him crap the bed Saturday night, it was obvious he had a large mint moment coming on Monday

Ooofff probably not if you’re looking at making a chunk of profit

Pre challenge, Obi sat around 12-13, Cole is fine at 3 and then JTA is like 5-6. The Bridges is going to have a mint count of 8K plus, (it’s already at 8400 with time to go), so probably only around 8-12 bucks because it’s not a big name player with a decently high mint count for a MSFE

Now I will say, the CS being 50 to complete the challenge versus 15 if you just buy the Bridges without completing certainly makes it worthwhile if you’re thinking of stacking some CS

I’m doing the Bridges but I had the luxury of having the Obi fandom from Christmas still, pulling the Jalen from rim shakers airdrop and had a HS JTA. All I needed was a 3 dollar Cole

Even though I have told you 1000+ times, and you don’t seem to listen, I look at all of these from a collector POV. I’m not in this to make as much money as possible, I don’t look at this like an investment. I enjoy the platform, I enjoy collecting moments.

I honestly don’t care about what other people do with their accounts, I’m not going to sit here and preach about what people “should” do. Because I’m not in control of their money. I would also never expect people to follow my word like gospel because I’m just a one man opinion.

Also, the market is experiencing rough times not mainly because of AllDay, it’s mainly because of TS decision to switch the pack structure. This new pack structure has more watered down packs and CS isn’t as big of a deal as it was just a month ago. That’s been more so the crash than the AllDay marketplace launching

Yeah exactly. As these platforms launch, and people move money around, it will take a few months to find an equilibrium. As to be expected
