It's 2022. We shouldn't feel privileged because we have running water and indoor plumbing
Where are you finding Jordan's for 250? Asking for a friend

I made a rather large pan of lasagna because my brother was supposed to come up. He decided to wait since oldest is still quarantining.

Not publicize what we have publicize what others don’t have and maybe they could get some help.

Got downtown for the event and it started pouring rain. Even though I was off, I started helping get stuff cleaned up. Tonight they had kids all down main street running lemonade stands, and there stuff was getting soaked. Got everybody out of the rain and left.

Sorry I don’t have any neighbors close enough to see my clothesline, and just because we have certain things no we shouldn’t apologize but we also shouldn’t have the attitude I got mine screw you.

I don't have any of those things, including a back yard. Just because he and others on here have those things doesn't mean everyone does. Some of us are not capable of/allowed to have those things. Those of you that know me know that I am not playing the "woe is me" card. I don't have much and am mostly content with that. I don't have a lot of wants and even fewer needs.

Preakness is correct when he stated, "We shouldn't feel privileged because we have running water and indoor plumbing". The key word there is shouldn't. However some people would love to have it, especially clean water. To deny it is to be having your head in the sand.

I want to say more, but won't lest I damage some sensitive ears.

I had no idea that hanging laundry is a nuisance or that foolish $ spent on clothing, shoes and jewelry in any way should affect your method of drying your clothes. Hmm

So my latest online course is getting rave reviews from the QC people, except they want to know how I plan to “foster a sense of community” in the course.

An online course that will only last 6 weeks and 1 day.

Filled with students scattered across the country.

I’m one of the only instructors who doesn’t require students to post the obligatory “I really liked your post because…” replies along with their own discussion post. I just have them post their material and that’s all I grade them on. Every class I get multiple students thanking me for skipping that BS, so it’s a little awkward that the department wants me incorporate some “community building” elements into the course.

Who takes an online class to make friends?

I get it from their end—they always want to boost student retention and it always looks good to check the arbitrary and meaningless “inclusiveness” boxes.

Man spuds the Rangers just look like the better team. Lightning can’t even figure out how to pass. They look slow and disinterested

Winning 2 cups in a row maybe they’re not as hungry but this one isn’t over yet.

Just went up 3-1. Protecting home ice so hopefully the Bolts can do the same and make this a 3 game series. They just don’t look good at all. Their magic of winning after losing is about to be busted and it will take some of their spirit away.

Make them all sign up for BO and post an original poll in OT.
