Same here and I can confirm the centering issue.

Pop will never be sky high, but I assume it'll pass 2018 at some point

Been a little MIA from the boards and this thread but I am so FREAKING PUMPED for this SB. Been busy buying/selling and of course accumulating more Patty Cakes. Win or lose, this is such an exciting time for us Patty fans.

Edit: One of the coolest purchases I've made over the past few weeks is picking of two of the Black Color Blasts from Obsidian. Gorgeous cards in image and in hand, and soon enough in a PSA slab.

I was just flipping through 2017 rookies on the bay... Obviously, pricing has skyrocketed across the board. Where do you guys think all the new money is coming from for these big dollar purchases (Alternative investment managers (e.g., hedge funds), flippers, wealthy individuals, international investors, or true collectors)? I know it is easy to simply say “all of the above”, though I’m truly curious in understanding whether his cards have become more desirable / credible as alternative investment vehicles for wealthy individuals looking to diversify their portfolio.

WOW THIS WAS A STEAL IMO:
2017 Mahomes Prizm Disco Auto /11 - (Some reason didnt put /11 which is shocking), made it look like a regular, with No mention of being a super short printed prizm auto!

The reg prizm auto /149 is commanding this price... 10k

This being one of the rarest prizm autos ever of mahomes. Rarer than the RWB...Havent seen one for sale in 1-2 years.

$9,700 seems like a bargain.

Welcome back. Great pickups on the Color Blasts. I have had my eye on those, as they look fantastic. My only concern has been whether Obsidian survives long term

Orange prizm PSA 10 at 22k is laughable, right? We just never know with PWCC what gets paid for and what doesn't until the relists happen.

And please...that triple patch /25 for 63k? that card is ugly as sin.

Yea mine is an 8.5 as well. Really close to be bumped to 9.0 which I wish it was. 8.5/8.5 on edges & corners. If it just got the bump I would be ecstatic. You have a super nice patch as compared to mine. Luckily I got three colors though. Mine is the gold variant /23. Congrats on joining RPA club. Wish I had that mahomes collection. Just started about a few months ago so it pales in comparison. Gorgeous cards

I wouldn't doubt a 1/1 black finite at that price, even though it's an insert. A 1/1 at that price is much more believable than 22k for an orange prizm (when there is a scope /99 PSA 10 for 20k obo on eBay).

And to think of the cards you could get for 63k instead of that ugly treasures insert...

I don't believe some of these prices, but I guess if others do it just raises the prices of all Mahomes so I can't really complain.

Sadly (or maybe appropriately?) the gap between BGS 10 and PSA 10 is closing significantly. It used to be that BGS 10 was easily double or triple PSA 10, but I have seen some cases recently where they are almost identical. BGS is going the way of the dodo bird. And by dodo bird I mean SCD and GAI.

Agree that it raises everything else.
I just spoke to a buddy and mentioned the orange sale and it's ugliness...his response was that he owns a couple and that the orange is closer to red and is very pleasing in hand.
I can't dispute what he say's,because he owns 2 reds too.

I was shocked that the disco PSA 10 just hit $10600 tonight. I was watching the finish and it went from 6500 to $10,600 within the last three seconds. Pretty sure the last one I saw sell was around $7000 range
