What will trout be remembered for? His cardboard prices? His WAR numbers on a lousy team? Why will future collectors pay top dollar for his overprinted cards? Why will his autographed minor league cards hold value? Whats Trouts legacy going to be?

He should be remembered as the guy you missed out on so you decided to be a hater.

Mike Trout leads all qualified MLB hitters in:

OBP (.476)
SLG (.808)
OPS (1.274)

What will Mookie Betts be remembered for? He like MANY others won 1 MVP and won multiple WS. Yet in that reflection piece the reporter will say “Mollie was among the best from 2014…” Then said reporter will say he was often compared to the best of that generation, Mike Trout.

Hopefully angels hitting stay on point and they can get a pitcher or two.

Being one of the greatest hitters to ever play. Ernie Banks never made the playoffs and his cards are in high demand a scant 68 years after his rookie card came out. Ichiro made the playoffs twice and is highly collectible. Barry Sanders won a single playoff game. Still considered one of the best ever.

Ted Williams
Ernie Banks
Ty Cobb
Ken Griffey Jr
Nap Jajoie
Tony Gwynn
Barry Bonds
Ichiro
Ralph Kiner
Billy Williams
Andre Dawson
Ryne Sandberg
Mike Piazza
Harmon Killebrew
Willie McCovey
Carl Yastrzemski

All suck because they never win a WS. Bunch of losers.
