Recap:

A small amount of people lucked out and hit big cards.

Several were able to find some to sell at some point while several others opened many and have little to show for it.

The rest of us found none and are doing better than most of the people who opened them, and generally WAY better than the ones buying on the second hand market.

I feel like a winner.

Same here lol, so true! Have only found and ripped 1 box thus far! My Wallets feeling pretty good about now

Had to go to Target for work today -- none there. Did two call-ins to the Targets near my drive home.

First guy, who's location has cards near the electronics, politely said said, yeah, sorry I don't have any right now, but try again soon. He knew the deal -- I asked him how many people called about Mega Box today, and he laughingly said 'you're about #7 or 8 man'. So it's gonna be an uphill slog here.

Location #2 has cards in the front. The lady transferred me who quickly dismissed me and said "we dont have them" quite curtly. So not fully trusting her, I stopped in. I immediately saw an Excell box. It was completely sealed, so I found an employee who was definitely not the one I has spoken to on the phone. She was able to open....Pokemon cards. So all this to say:

None today

Had no idea how hard these were to find - went to Target tonight because tomorrow is Bruins day at the pre school my son goes to and he needed a shirt. Stopped by the cards and they had a box there waiting to be put out so I asked someone if I could grab a couple they didn't care so I got 5 (they also rang up at 10% off so they were 17.99).

Hit Mojo Refractors of Victor Mesa Jr., Marco Luciano, Ronny Mauricio, Orelvis Martinez, Juan Pablo Martinez, Michael Chavis, and Julio Rodriguez were the big names. Purple Mojo of Tirso Ornelas and Jonathan Hernandez. Then Mojo Autos of Luken Baker and Bobby Dalbec.

All in all I was happy with the break and it was fun I will probably stop by Target again tomorrow and see if they put the rest out.

I've been to a few targets over the last week, and nothing. I'm not going to stalk an excel rep over this stuff, so the freaks who clean out stores 24 at a time can have at them...

Almost gave up...then found 24 today. Only opened 12 so far with Blaze Mega base auto and Wander Mega refractor non-auto.

Still debating on opening rest.

People are flipping these now for $33.50 on ebay. After all the fees and shipping, it's like a $8 profit per box. Do we see these going up at all or have they peeked at about $40?

if you have a lot of 24-30 and its all sold at once you are making a decent profit

i think that's hard to say. last years had half the production, pretty decent class also and still is around $30

Guess short term they'll go down as more and more show up in store and online. Maybe way down the line they could go up rapidly if Wander becomes the Superman some folks think he will be.

A guy on eBay is selling them for $30/box. After 10% EBay fee and 3% PayPal fee then $15 to ship his lot of 13, he’s making like $6.50 profit per box. Is $80 really worth going through all that trouble?
