Yeah it was a good chance for them to take some money on.

I almost put something down on LeBron as there was some talk going his way, I'm glad I held off.

Lebron was tempting too...I just avoided that situation altogether because of WB and Harden having the historical seasons. Just one of those crazy years.

Have to record the game, kids get to stay up late. Will have to comment later. Hoping for an entertaining couple hours!

Holy smokes, halfway to a triple-double in just one quarter!

In regards to the MVP award, as Kenny Smith so eloquently puts it...

IT'S OVA. LET'S GO HOME FOLKS.

19-7-7 at the half. Damn. Those are good numbers against the Spurs. But 6 TO's too.....

But with the lead, I'll take it!

Well Spurs roared back. Thunder had a lineup in the last 2 mins of the third that would be a 9th seed March madness team.

But they're as strong as the Rockets roster. Allegedly.

The Spurs coming back definitely has nothing to do with Westbrook shooting 6/16 with 8 TOs.

That was some of the most one siding officiating I've seen in a long time.

The phantom foul on Gasol, the non call on Aldridge that ended up in a loose ball foul on Roberson and the contact at the rim on Westbrook's last free throw.

That's a 6 free throw swing.

Only 14/15 FT too. It definitely was RWB's bad play and not the roster around him that can't make layups or hit the rim on outside shots.

I thought it was cute when Oladipo missed the breakaway layup.

Really Russ could have done more, but it wouldn't kill the team to have somebody else step up and have a game.

Good lord, really?

That foul on Gasol is an easy call and one they make every game, Kanter clearly gets faked and bumps him.

The non call on Aldridge is reasonable, but the problem is Adams flops on that crap all of the time.

Got an excuse for Dipo stepping out of bounds also? How about how the Spurs moving the ball and Aldrigde getting that dunk? McBuckets giving up an and 1?

I don't think you were wronged there.

But I will say this, refs are suckers for momentum, at every level, man they eat it up.

We all know Russ needs more help, but if Mike D'Antoni came over with Harden and they dropped Westbrook I'd be very interested to see what they could get out of that team.

No excuse for Oladipo, not sure why you asked.

Spurs won the game, fair and square, but they got every call down the stretch and the Thunder didn't get any.

Had they not blown a 20 point lead it wouldn't be a issue.

Because when you blame refs for a loss and your team actually made poor decisions down the stretch, your team lost because of themselves, not a few calls by the refs.

I'm not sure what calls the Thunder really missed out on.

To settle the MVP debate just do it very easy.

Take the top 4 in the East and top 4 in the West. Go by which team (Hou) and (OKC) have the better record and give it to that star cause those wins mean more than racking up numbers against garbage lottery teams.

Lol..gimmie a break..racking up numbers against garbage lottery teams....right because that's all Russ does (ignoring his 2nd straight triple double against the Spurs where they beat them at home the first time and should've had this game)...I really gotta stay out of this thread..some of the anti Russ stuff posted is absurd

When did I even blame the refs for the loss?

All I said was there was bad officiating down the stretch. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.

A team can lose by 30 and there be bad officiating and nothing to do with the loss. OKC lost tonight because they got outscored by 25 in the last 18 minutes

Was he talking about wb? Harden seems to have pretty bad games against elite teams...

Exactly. So like I said just take the records against the Top 8 (4 east, 4 west) and that is your MVP.
