Massive slow down. Never had anything in QA2 for 2 weeks.

Both of my June Specials hit QA2 so hoping to see some stuff pop this coming week. One is a 42 card sub and a smaller 12 card sub I got in at the last minute. They arrived on 6/19 and were entered on 6/29 so right in line with the 1 month turn around time I've had with all of my other subs this year.

Another value order received by PSA on 6/9/23 and stuck in QA1.

If nobody has mentioned it yet, dual grade orders take a lot more time as there's two different services involved for the one card...so can't compare to orders that are non-dual grade moving at a much faster clip.

Further proof PSA doesn’t know what FIFO is lol. My order was received two days earlier, and into research/Id 3 days earlier.

Nat just did an interview on some Pokemon show where he was asked about that. He said they have different goals/targets depending on.... the day??? He said some days they will say (going off memory here) "Oh, hey, lets knock out a bunch of 100+ card orders today".... And then they will just focus in on that. Or, whatever the target is.

I think FIFO should be the standard, but WTF do I know?

He also said, hilariously, that PSA hasn't changed from their long time published standards.... but that they just strive to adhere more closely to them now than previously.

Over 100 business days on a vintage special. Still in assembly. Also, it’s probably easier easier to get Taylor Swift tickets at face value than it is to reach PSA by phone right now. Customer service is at capacity within 15 minutes of opening theses days.

My 12 card sub just popped and i am stoked. 6 10's, 5 9's, and one 8.

out of all of them these 2 are my favorites. Bostick is a PC guy and Cepeda I've had forever and never could bring myself to grade it before now because I figured it would be a 8 or 9 at best. But I didn't want to risk it getting damaged.

Grades popped today.... and they kicked an Alex Ovechkin auto WHICH WAS SIGNED AT A PRIVATE SIT DOWN SIGNING A COUPLE MONTHS AGO for 'questionable authenticity'. I understand that PSA is the king for resale, but the whole process is so frustrating.

Sent 6 orders of the 90’s special submitted in the same box received late June so I could compare the results as all are very similar submissions. Almost a month in and they are on different tracks with 2 in Research & ID, 3 in Grading, and 1 already in Assembly. Curious to see how spread apart the completion dates are not to mention the results.
