Does anyone know if COMC will be taking submission drop offs at the Philly Show next weekend?

Didnt even think about suggesting a partial refund, so that's helpful. I wrote inquiring about it, since it doesnt hurt to ask. I figure it might be easier on their end so they dont have to get involved in selling it, plus I'd settle with just keeping a damaged version since I wanted this particular card.
Just wanted to update on this. I received a message back from comc customer service which said their policy is no partial refunds. I get it why they dont do this, just a little surprised since I included pictures which show the clear damage.

I got a pretty good deal on this card originally and frustrated with the whole thing a this point- comc with a ridiculous blunder in getting a $400 card ready to ship. Im just going to send the wolverine back for a full refund.

What are people's experiences the past year moving PSA graded basketball from the 90s on COMC? I have been very pleased with my success moving low-to-mid level raw basketball from the 90s, but I am expecting back a bunch of PSA graded Kobe/Duncan/MJ cards from mid-90s and was wondering if there was much movement for graded cards, or if the higher cost does not do well on the site.

I appreciate the update. I think there's a good chance that if you return the card, it will be offered for sale again at a lower price. However, it appears to be an epack card, so they might have a different way of dealing with returned items.

Good quality 1990's basketball cards are solid sellers on the site. Graded cards should sell well if the prices are competitive with other Buy It Now's of large eBay dealers or major websites when cross-posted to eBay.

When COMC cross posts to eBay, they add a handling fee and then also 15%. If your target price is x, then a good list price (in Advanced Reseller Mode) is:

(x/1.15)-1.23

Just noticed a bunch of categories for Non-Sports like Marvel and YugiOh and what not...have they been there for a long time and I'm just blind, or are those new categories?

YuGiOh has always been its own category (like Pokemon and Magic), but "Marvel" as a separate category is definitely new.

It looks like "Cricket" might also be a new category. The tell is that when you click on a Cricket card, the category link on the card still says "All Cards", whereas established sports will say "Baseball cards" or whatnot.

Yes, but depending on the service level they may remove them and charge you to do it. So make sure you're using a higher service level if you're sending in Card savers. Penny sleeves in a loosely packed box are the standard for regular cards.

Thank you. Does anyone have any experience with dropping off to them in person? Curious if it is worth saving the worry about shipping and the cost or do they just ship them anyways and are they covered for insurance soon as you drop the cards off at the show or only when it gets back to their facilities? Really appreciate.

Oh yeah. On the site it says fully insured and high value items stored in vaults. Have they ever disclosed how that would work god forbid a fire or natural disaster happened and would sellers or collectors be reimbursed?

No idea about coverage but I dropped with them at the National and it was a breeze.

How long did it take for them to show up in your account after dropping off?

They trickled in sporadically, I think 2-4 weeks?

So a COMC order sent economy to the UK arrived today, shipped on 10th February.
Not even 3 weeks I'm seriously impressed.
My last order took 2 months to arrive.

They have charged me the toploader fee for semi-rigid. Pretty sure they consider them toploaders.

This is from their submission form for economy submissions:

Add $0.50 for cards that need to be removed from a protective holder (e.g. toploader, pages, card saver, one touch). There is no additional charge for cards shipped in penny sleeves.

The same applies to Select submissions:

Add $0.50 for cards that need to be removed from a protective holder (e.g. toploader, pages, card saver, one touch). There is no additional charge for cards shipped in penny sleeves.

This is for Elite Submissions :

Raw cards must be sent in a protective holder (e.g. toploader, card saver, one touch)

So, it is pretty simple. For Economy and Select - only penny sleeves are accepted without an additional .50 charge. For Elite - you must use a more rigid method of protecting individual cards.

Today, I've sent my 450th correction request. I do it to help them and us buyers out for a variety of obvious reasons. The thing is is a lot of times they finish the correction request and don't change a thing, so I have to end up sending it over again. Also, many times when I send a few at a time, one request will get ignored somehow and I have to resend it again.

Didn't really post this to add to the many other complaints this company has, but after witnessing this so many times it really baffles me. I mean it really does.

For me, corrections get done fairly quick. However, if it is for condition notes they don't always get processed.

Most of mine get done fairly quick too. But after sending as many as I have, quite a few of them have taken 3 days or longer if they even get to it at all (which has happened a lot).

Many have closed and they didn't even correct it (happens a lot), so I send another correction request for the same card and it'll get fixed.

From my experience:

If it’s the wrong player or team then it gets fixed quick.

If it’s a condition note it may never get fixed.
