When the card arrived from COMC, I was surprised and disappointed the accompanying COA card was not included, essentially removing a ton (probably most of) the value of the card. Is this normal for COMC? They dont include the packaged COA card?

So if I bought a 2016 Marvel Masterpieces Joe Jusko Auto, it wouldnt have the accompanying UD COA card? Seems kind of ridiculous.
COMC can only send what was mailed to them, so the seller likely didn't send the COA. Most autographed cards that had a COA get the condition note "includes COA". As to the Jusko question, since they were a fulfillment center for UD ePack starting just before that time, either they would send the COA card or UD may not have given them any.

COMC will always include the COA if the submitter included it with the card. if the submitter didn't include it, COMC will of course not have it to send it with the card, and will not mark the card as "Includes COA".
Thanks, good to know.
Dang wish I would have known that before buying, just assumed the COA would be there since they're a package deal for these cards. Why it would have been separated at any point is beyond me. Ah well....appreciate it!

Yea true, I guess the seller just didnt include it when shipping to comc. Why they would do that, who knows, but for some reason it happened.

Hmm wonder what a 2012 Beginnings auto is worth without the COA. Guessing somewhere between nothing at all and like a quarter of regular price.

That seems like way too much of a discount. Get it authenticated by PSA or BAS and it's like nothing happened, if you're really worried about it. They don't slab the COA either.

There are very limited circumstances in which I can see myself doing this. It would likely involve:
a) A card that has clearly become undervalued;
b) 2 cards available on COMC at roughly the same price.

Example: I have a card listed for 9.74 and someone else has one listed for 9.49. When I get the offer, I see that the next cheapest on COMC is $30 and the cheapest on eBay is $25 plus shipping.

Under those circumstances, I will pull my card on the assumption that the buyer will buy the other card for $9.49 and I can then relist at just under $20 knowing I will be the cheapest on both COMC and eBay.

My experience is that the psychology of bargain hunting seems to make it hard for some buyers to pull the trigger when there are 2+ similarly priced cards, even if they are both huge bargains. I've had very good luck buying blocks of identically/similarly priced cards to flip and then selling them one at a time, especially when they were on sale on COMC so the eBay price stayed artificially inflated.

I'm in the UK so will be lucky to have this order before summer.

PS: 154,257 items ahead of me!
I would not be concerned about the 150,000 items ahead of you. My last 2 orders were picked and shipped with that number of cards still ahead of me. The fact that your order entered picking weeks ago and has still not been processed is concerning. I would send a message/email to them asking what is taking so long to pick such a small order.

I won 2 COMC auctions on eBay last night and sent for a request to link my COMC and eBay account since I have some cards that I can get shipped together.

I still haven’t received the email to link the accounts. Does anyone know if the emails are sent automatically or is it normal to wait a day or 2?

Did you try it yourself first? If not, go to Auctions Won on COMC's dashboard and try. Otherwise, just wait until Monday. Saturday is not a business day, but they might have someone working it.

If it has the sticker, I can't imagine it would make any difference whatsoever.

An eBay customer just bought 45 of my PSA graded T121 War Pictures set for nearly $1000. Maybe they'll swing back for the other 40 I have listed.

Wonder how much they would have saved if they bought from the COMC site instead of ebay?

At least $300. I was running a 15% off sale.

Interesting watch.
I like the idea of improving the submission process by separating and giving notes as to what you are submitting. Granted a little more work for me, but I don't mind providing the extra bit of info to have my items processed more smoothly and potentially more timely.

Hi everyone. I had an auction end last night on one card. It shows it ended at $56. I don't see the money in my account credit as of yet. Is it only after the buyer decides to pay?

Oh also does COMC do any promotions with free submissions or discounted submissions to send in cards around this time of year or is it only more around the Christmas season like at the end of last year with the $70 free submissions? Have some more things I want to send in but always good to make sure ahead of time. Thank you

Yes, the buyer has to pay before the money goes in your account.

And COMC doesn't normally do any submission specials, so I wouldn't hold cards just waiting for it.

Is there a way to bulk edit cards using the inventory manager? Or some other way? It's a real pain to go through and mark dozens or hundreds of cards as Not for Sale one at a time or to add a price one at a time.

There is the Bulk Price Editor, for what it's worth. I haven't used it. I think you need an *older* computer to use it.

The only trick I am aware of using the website is to use two asterisks "**" in order to price the next card the same as the previous card. So if you sort the cards you want to price in some type of order and want to price 50 in a row at $1.00, you type in $1 for the first price and press enter and follow the next 49 by typing in 98 asterisks.

Or just copy/paste a price. After copying a price, hold the CTRL key down, while alternating pressing the C key and Enter.

I believe Dr. James Beckett spoke about this tip on one of his COMC advice podcasts a while back. This has saved me an incredible amount of time.

One thing that I try do on a weekly basis is under the inventory manager, I select “price modified long ago” from the drop down menu. I will then scroll through my cards and see if there are any that I am way overpriced on. Even if I’m not, I will knock a few pennies off of my prices just to have those listings pushed back down into the bottom of my inventory feed when using this filter. I have a little over 17,000 items and without this feature, I’m sure that many of the cards I had listed would get completely forgotten about.

Excited to get an update that the first item from my first-ever order was uploaded to my account and...it was a card incorrectly reported as unsupported (there is one other copy of this card currently for sale by another seller).

In order to request a correction, is this the right place to click? I submitted a request there, but it felt wrong (like I was requesting a data correction for all copies of that card, like they'd put the wrong card number or something).

If this was the right place, how long should I expect it to be (roughly) until this is corrected?

Souldn't take long, if there is another already indexed/for sale.

Did you put white blanks around the card to protect it? You're supposed to mark those with big X's on each side so the processing team knows not to process them.
But yes, if they sent you a picture of the card itself, and it's already listed by another on site, they should fix it rather quickly. Which they could do by just making the other one unsupportable as well. So it may not help you, but be consistent.
