Anyone who got the Griffey Taylor already, what kind of case did it come in?

I trust buying the dip. I picked up a nice card just now on eBay for a lot of money that I think is a good price. Puckering intensifies.

Everything I’ve gotten after Baller Trout has come in an ultra pro.

Probably the card I just hit the BIN on only for it to say it was already sold. Was it in the $800's?

I think his Friday podcasts/videos/whateveritishedoes are called that. A cursory search of the interwebs shows that one of Gary Vee's business mantras is that he hates Fridays because we shouldn't "fear" the workweek and live for the weekend.

There are seemingly infinite reasons to love P2020. All the different print runs of the 400 cards in the set, based on real time demand, is such an awesome and new thing, which this hobby loves. This is Topps latest homerun, in a long list of them. The group breaker culture, super high prices on wax, grading, trimming, conrona bs, etc, etc...this gives everyone a break from all that and something new and fun to be interested in. It's not going anywhere!

Not my card - but #15 Mays Thiele PR 1464 for $655 seems like a good buy. Blake Nolan/Mattingly still seem like good buys also.

If there is an uptick this weekend, it'll be interesting to see if the pre-Shore Griffeys get love, especially the Beck Griffey. Not that they aren't at an astronomical price for a $20 card to begin with, but after touching $500+ you can grab one under $400 now.

You would have thought after the Shore reached almost 100k, one with less than 4k would have shot up, not sagged. But maybe there's some anti-Griffey sentiment out there right now

I do enjoy SCI’s content (well produced, regular, digestible) but isn’t the whole purpose of his product the ‘market mover tool’ supposed to identify the next hot cards first?

I might be wrong, but this seems like the single biggest missed opportunity for someone like him who’s all about trying to build credibility as a leader in the space.

I’m sure I’ll still watch him (because there isn’t much competition), but what little credibility I had for him just dwindled quite a bit more.

Yes. My eagerness to make a joke backfired embarrassingly.
