Eventually the populace will have to accept 8 Mile as their new ECC overlords.

Charlotte a B Miller extradition away from being something special.

I am in disbelief the Clips pulled that out.

Amazing what being removed from cornhole country can do for a man's morale.

Cade and Brunson certainly didn't disappoint. The Pistons have to be the favorite in the east after tonight.

It would be really difficult to see them making a real run. Oddly enough I feel like Durant has for the most part given them that night-in, night-out consistent scorer they needed but I think it's unlikely they make any real noise come playoff time.

With having Murray & Joker in the line-up plus Braun and Cam Johnson being back, it just feels like a game Denver should have won. They've been losing close games lately.

Super Bowl

In NBA G League news, the Cleveland Charge have traded for former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo. Oladipo last played in the NBA in 2023 and has played for the Wisconsin Herd in the G League this season.

I like to think they are the favorites. There is a still a part of me that thinks they will get picked off by the Celtics or 76ers. Maybe even the Cavs. Teams with multiple superstars. Part of the reason that Detroit is winning the East is they actually try hard most nights. Since most team are either coasting or tanking and not playing hard on defense, it gives Detroit an edge. If one of those other teams cranks it up for playoff mode, can Detroit reach another gear? Detroit doesn't have any deep playoff run experience.

I am rooting for them obviously. Path is open for them. Getting to the finals would be an amazing accomplishment for this franchise after the decade long plus of crappy basketball.

One of the things that's encouraging to see is a player not backing down to physical play. Exhibit A after being challenged...lmao

Your coach is JB Bickerstaff. He has great regular seasons and then forgets what worked when it comes playoff time. We’ll see if anything changed.

Let them feel good for now. They will have a 2nd round exit this year, still feel good going into next year, flame out again and then they'll figure out how bad JB is in the playoffs

100% correct.

I am a JB hater as a Cavs fan but one thing he was amazing at was getting his guys to always play hard.

These versions of the Cavs vs Pistons would end up being the ultimate clash of regular season performers if they were to meet in the playoffs. Would be wild if that were the ECF.

It's early, but trading Zubac for Mathurin, 2029 unprotected pick, and either 2026 pick 5-9 or 2031 unprotected could end up going down as one of the all time hauls for the Clippers.

It would be.

Only question is going to be if it could happen in round 1 or round 2.

Cavs have a tough schedule the next two weeks, but the end of their schedule is a tankfest, unless Atlanta really pushes hard for that play in

I am just happy to see the Pistons in the playoffs again with an actual chance to win a round. I love it when the Pistons are good, the national media really hates winning Pistons teams. ha ha

Lol so bitter. Curious to see the list of eastern conference teams you think would beat them in a playoff series?

I'm happy the Bucks actually stepped up in the 4th and got the much needed win.
