I have 463 cards due tonight! Let's see if they process them all. I was amazed when 50 dropped last night on Independence Day. Last due date they cleared like 750 into my account, and didn't have to cut any processing fees.

Just seen this complaint on COMC facebook page. Gotta love people!!

dear COMC, it's now july 5, my Amazon order should've been receieved today which it hasn't in fact it still hasn't been to L.A. faulity yet.. I'M MAD! I'M MAD! I'M MAD! One of the cards were for a signing I missed. THEREFORE I DEMAND YOU 1) GIVE ME A REFUND 2) SEND OUT THE SAME DUPLICATE CARDS CAUSE AFTER ALL IF YOU WERE DOMINO'S PIZZA AND MY ORDER CAME AFTER 30 MINUTES, YOU'D GET A FREE PIZZA. CAUSE AFTER ALL, IF YOUR REPORT TO YOUR BOSS WAS LATE, HOW LONG WOULD YOU HAVE JOB. CAUSE AFTER ALL IF DONALD TRUMP SAID "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN".. YOU BETTER BET HE WILL DO IT CAUSE AFTER ALL HE WON THE ELECTION. PLEASE GIVE ME REFUND AND DULPICATE ORDER OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE A CUSTOMER AND THAT MEANS NO MORE MONEY VIA AMAZON SITE. ]

Doesn't beat the first week eBay complaint (10 negative feedbacks) about the fact that the cards weren't delivered as pictured, with the "COMC" watermark on them! ;-)

I've read parts of this thread, but it's way too long to read the whole thing.

Bottom line. I'm looking to liquidate a zillion (so it seems) cards.

Many are from $1-$20. If priced reasonably, could I conceivably sell 500-5000 cards on COMC? Is it worth the money I would have to invest? I've debated it many times but never pulled the trigger. I'm strongly considering pulling the trigger now. I can wait the 60 days with no problem to save some money.

Could I get a better deal if I sent them 5000 cards? Do they do discounts on larger submissions than $.30 per card?

Bottom line, do you do well selling on there?

thanks!

And what's up with $30.25 for a common from 1974 Topps?

it was the standard "We're sorry to hear this, please email staff@comc.com with the details so we can address the issue" reply...that's what you want to do, when someone writes a post like that - encourage them to write more...

No discount for sending in 5,000 cards.

Before sending, check to see how many copies of what you are sending in are already on the site. Stuff will sell if priced properly.

Also expect 5-10% of your submission to be damaged and a condescending e-mail blaming you for the damage.

I've seen people with 10K and 20k listings. Are they paying COMC hundreds of dollars a month just for storage? If so, I assume they are doing enough business to justify the expense.

It's a penny per card on anything priced more than .75 in the inventory that has been on site for more than 90 days.

In those situations where it's a larger seller, I assume they've purchased the account "upgrade" that increases the price limit, so they pay a penny per card on anything priced more than $2.49.

I've had 10-15K before, never paid more than $10 in storage fees

It says 1 cent per card. That would be 10K cards is $100, or do I misunderstand what I'm reading?

It probably means he either had them priced below the threshold or he sold through the cards before the fees started hitting.

I hesitated yesterday to cash out all my store credit, because I have some submissions due soon, but ended up doing it because I didn't have anything due until 7 Mailbox items due today and figured I would sell $3.50 worth by tonight. Then I was shocked, SHOCKED, to get an e-mail late last night informing me that COMC had attempted to submit 142 items of 451 due on 7/28, but couldn't until my account balance was at zero or above. They had charged the $35.50, bringing my account into the negative, so I added $40 to my account and the cards were available to be priced within the hour. It was a happy surprise. I wonder if they're starting now with the new philosophy of getting newer products in earlier (most, or all, of the items I submitted were 2016-17 Select, Optic, or NT basketball cards, which have come out in the past few months).

Free storage on all items with an asking price of $2.50 or less.

Supposed to be $2.50 right? I've been prepping for the account upgrade and making stuff $2.50...it would suck to have to reprice my items to $2.49....also this is if I'm, in advanced reseller mode right? Meaning I price it at $2.50 and then they mark it up to $2.75? Help?

I had this happen as well last week with a bunch of stuff I wasn't expecting for a few more weeks. Glad they are getting stuff done earlier, which I guess is a result of the non-posting of cards people haven't paid for.

If it says so on the site, I could be wrong. I've never paid for the upgrade personally.

I'm not sure that's the reason, as they actually had already processed the cards and taken the money from my account; they just didn't let me price the cards / send them live until I paid. The cards automatically become available for pricing within a couple hours after you pay.

Although you could be right that if someone doesn't pay for a batch on Monday, they will skip processing that person's cards on Tuesday, etc. Who knows.

Oh sorry...my message was sent pertaining to me. Not about your batch that came due. I am at the borderline where an account upgrade makes sense and I'm starting to reprice stuff so it would be "free" under the account upgrade. I just want to be sure what the price needs to be to get covered. I would hate to price everything at $2.50 only to find out that it should have been $2.24 or 2.25.

Also, based on my reading you are fine. It does say free for "Asking Price of $2.50 or less." If you look at your Inventory Manager, the column where you like the price is the "Asking Price." Then there's a S/H column, and a column with the S/H included that they call the "List Price." So if you've been pricing at $2.50 before s/h charge, you should be fine.

Thanks for checking. I sent a message to staff to see if they can give me a clear answer. Pricing thousands individually sucks...I wish they had a bulk pricer that worked...
