Fortunate to grab 12 additional hanger boxes in the last reload in my area this week...there were no other SKU's being restocked. So far have bought up 22 hangers, 12 cellos and 2 blasters (no megas in Canada) at Walmart.
Have 8 more of each arriving tomorrow that my father-in-law picked up in a small town Walmart, where hockey is the only sport they recognize.

My son (14 YO) and I have had an absolute blast opening all of these with no intention of reselling on ebay or other marketplaces. At suggested MSRP...this is an absolute no-brainer to open.

Some amazing hits of Zion, Ja and Lebron with true silver prizms of each among other colored mosaics included. Only 2 genesis cards (J.Lamb & R.Holmes)....but this may be one of THE BEST looking cards in hand I have ever seen.

I truly hope you all get a chance to crack some open as retail, FOTL and hobby hit the markets. Tuesday's dutch auction will be interesting to see where the larger market prices Mosaic as a contender to Prizm & Optic.

I found Optic to be so under-whelming this year and feel there is potential for this "re-imagined" DEBUT year of Panini Mosaic to rival 16/17 Optic and 12/13 Prizm as the years go by. Certainly.....Zion's place in the game as his career evolves will be a big determinant on the perceived value.

Just my two cents

I'm fascinated by the thread but y'all are nuts.
I too think it's crazy there are still people going out for cards. I live in the epicenter though in NYC/NJ so maybe that's why it feels so crazy to me.

I purposefully struck out on mosaic because I refuse to make these unnecessary trips. Hell I get worried going to the grocery store and no way you'd convince me to go to a walmart/target/costco-like discount store these days. I can't fathom how profiting $30 on a blaster is worth the store searching while a global pandemic is going on but people never cease to amaze if there is money to be made

Man I went on a little run today as had to pick up a few things and my total haul was a measly 2019 Update BB hanger. LOL No Mosaic, no basketball at all. It is mostly a barren wasteland around me. Was happy I was able to pick up some 2020 Prizm Draft FB cellos that came in-stock online at Wally yesterday just to add to the stash at least.

I feel a little bit better at least that everyone is wearing masks now. Odds are much lower you're going to catch something but you still have to be careful of course and still no guarantee. I'll get out a bit and hunt now if I have other things to buy anyways.

Seems like no one in the US found any today. Could’ve sworn we’d see some pickups in here by now. Hopefully next week is finally the week.

I will just add that Wally's in-store policy of typically putting the cards by a checkout aisle only looks more ridiculous now. I had a few stores where I didn't even bother trying to check as it was a line of people waiting to checkout right by the cards. Just not worth it to try and get close to people to see what they have.

How do you all deal with that now? Do you actually try and get next to the people checking out just to see the cards? Do you just wait in the checkout line until it's your turn to "check out" and you can quickly scan what they have? What a mess...

Not sure if it was already mentioned, but looks like all the Walmart links are now for in store purchase only......

That’s why you have to cut off the MJ rep before they get there.

It's been like that for a week or so. And don't believe it if it says in-stock at a local store. Trust me, it's not. I already fell for that trap.

I have no desire to go to 10 Walmart’s during normal times. I’m fine paying eBay prices to let someone else take the risk for me.

WHAT? I never saw that. Been checking. Did you get any?

I will add the Mega page did briefly say "page not found" a little while ago for me.

I hope they don't stop selling online. That would suck, but it would also screw the bots, so I guess not all bad.

Nope. My Targets are even worse than my Wallys. Absolutely nothing really worth buying right now.
