OK, wow. What the hell did I just watch lol. I mean, some parts were OK, but my favorite part had to be when the Antarctic Council, upon realization that they were the last surviving segment of humanity, decided that the 855 men were going to have equal access to the 8 women left.

The Japanese guy walking from DC to the Antarctica encampment after the nuclear holocaust he failed to avert was also fabulous.

TBH, I could have stopped there and ended the film on a high note.

Yea, the last 20 minutes or so was the movie's worst part.

That's charitable, but OK. Was a good trip down the 80s cheeseball memory lane.

My 4th of July horror movie suggestion is the 1996 cinematic classic "Uncle Sam."

Have a wonderful 4th weekend and try not to blow off any fingers!

Their use of the word “scoop” has always stuck in my mind since I came across their paper.

We are really weirdly designed primates.

Watched "Imaginary Friend" and "Forget Me Not" on Prime last night. Nothing much to say other than Imaginary Friend had Lacey Chabert in it . YUM!

Not a movie, rather it is a real life story, but the 3rd episode of Netflix's new "Unsolved Mysteries" is way gnarly. It's called "House of Terror". Some upper-middle-class French family gets wiped out and the mystery behind it is crazy as F.

Watching the Banana Splits movie.

Some SyFy channel level acting........except for the deadbeat brother. That guy nails his performance. He deserves to be in a serious Indie drama/horror at some point.

Lots of gore for everyone!

I saw it a while back and enjoyed it.
It's set up for a sequel at the end.

It was a little weird to go from watching Scoob! (by Hanna Barbera) with my kid to watching the Banana Splits movie (by Hanna Barbera) with my wife.

Watched You Should Have Left the other day with Kevin Bacon.
Movie could have been so much better...as it was, I'd give it a 5/10....so many missed opportunities with the psychological aspect as well as the 'horror' aspect.

Watched a couple last night on Netflix.

It Comes at Night.
Basically a post-apocalyptic movie with two families sharing a secluded house. Did not care for it, thought it was boring.

Green Room.
A punk band gets booked to play at a secluded neo-nazi club. Let's just say it doesnt go well for the band. I liked this one quite a bit. Stars Anton Yelich and Patrick Stewart (Chekov and Picard !).

This movie is my jam. Been meaning to watch it again. Also stars Alia Shawkat (Maeby from "Arrested Development").

I agree with you on both of those films. I heard people hyping It Comes at Night as being a fantastic movie. Boy of boy, I was super disappointed in that film. Green Room was damn good. I felt the good type of nerves throughout a lot of the film.

Still bummed over the tragic loss of Yelchin, the 4 year anniversary of his passing was just a couple of weeks ago.
He was a fine young actor and still had a lot to do.
