It's not just you. I listed a Christopher Morel Gold /75 last night while I was still opening my second Jumbo from Topps presale. It sold for a very solid price before I got to the silver packs.

The /299s appear to be selling quite well too.

Yep, I pulled an Adley /75 and thought it was a meh whatever manufactured relic even with the lower numbering. I'm surprised! They are pretty sharp, I'll admit that.

My personal chase ended in the third jumbo case I was in. I have a few more I already bought into. Nolan Ryan auto /50 is plenty for me. No need to chase further.

PR is probably 100 or less. Could be something stupid low like 10.

Is everyone else’s collation bad? Out of a hobby case it looks like I can only get 3 full sets. I am still going through the cards and putting them in order but missing several cards already.

If perfectly collated, you should be able to make 7 sets.

I was going with a presale of 5 sets to be safe and looks like I may have to refund 2 people and figure out the best way to move the other cards.

I knew I was going to have an issue when I had duplicates of a few inserts.

I could chance it and try to see if I can grab a few blasters to fill in the missing cards but may not be worth it. Hoping I miss placed the missing cards with my initial sort.

I was thinking even lower. I was talking to someone about it last night and I bet its 25 copies of each. And for a lot of people, they won't even know how special it is when they pull it so it may not immediately go up. I could see the average fan thinking it was just a regular base card.

Preselling anything is risky. I almost never do it. You will kill your ebay store traffic when you have to cancel or refund orders. Ebay will start pushing your listings down to where they are hard to see.

I'm sure this has about the same odds as winning the lottery, but son was opening a box before he left for school and pulled a black Ryan auto within about 3 minutes of my post. Legit. I just had a to chuckle.

This was my thought as well. Since unannounced, unnumbered, and otherwise indistinguishable from a common, a good percentage of the small PR (whatever it is) will be overlooked by the casual collector.

I think the only saving Grace to have more than 50% of them to show up on the market is that they are likely packed upside down in the middle (with the hits/inserts).

Collation has gotten worse and worse over the past few years.....had to drop pre sale sets quantity because of it. Luckily, I have 2 shops near me that always have Series 1 singles day of release, so if I miss pre-sale sets amount, I go there the next day and build the sets needed to ship. Always try and give an ETA of receiving the set about 10 days after release, gives you time get situated if that happens.

Even if they are not mixed in. They can be the top or back card in the hit stack and if its facing forward a lot of people won't catch it. Lets hope they are reversed.
