So triggered that you have to keep making sexist remarks. Sad, really.

Just curious, what are your thoughts on Patrick Mahomes, or CMC, or Justin Jefferson?

Because I'm able to actually talk about other teams doesn't make me a lover of their team, it makes me a fan of football.

Quit moving goal posts. You simply claimed Hall of Fame, now you want to claim that they need to be home grown. Steve Hutchinson played more years with MN than SEA, had more PBs there, and had more 1st Team All-Pros there. Carter got clean and became a top WR in Minnesota. Pathetic that you have to keep making caveats. Makes you look like a child.

3 decades is 30 years. That puts us to 1994. Even using your deadline of 1990, awesome, Dan Hampton played one year during that time frame. But go ahead, lump his whole career into it. Same with Jimbo Covert. So, neither one played in the league in the last 30 years.
My thoughts on Patrick Mahomes or CMC are meaningless in this NFC North thread. But I do think Justin Jefferson is one of the best WRs in the game today. Which makes your post trying to prove the team is better without him, that much dumber.

A decade is a block of 10 years. It isn't simply counting backwards. The 90s were a decade. A decade isnt between 1995 and 2005. That is just a 10 year count. The current decade has yet to happen. We are only 3 years into it right now. Read a dictionary Bro.

I didn't claim anything. I pointed out the differences between your list of "Vikings" Hall of Famers, and my list of Bears Hall of Famers over the past 3 decades.

Dont get all salty on me. I didn't put Julius Peppers on my list, as the Bears yanked him from Carolina. The same way the Vikings did Hutch. If you want to include rented players, thats fine by me. I'm adding Orlando Pace to the Bears. Along with Jason Peters, Peppers, Khalil Mack and Jared Allen if they all get in.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/decade

Maybe you should read a dictionary. A decade is simply a period of 10 years. Yup, 1990-1999 is a decade, so is 1991-2000. Of course 1995-2005 isn't a decade, that's 11 years. Again, you're moving goal posts.

You did claim stuff. You claimed the Bears had far more HOFers in those three decades than any other team in the division. When I gave you a Vikings list just as long you made excuses for all of them and then threw out the "well the Chicago players were all home-grown." Excuse after excuse out of you.

You're mad because I included players that built their HOF case in Minnesota. Sounds pretty salty to me.

You said something nice about a player on another team in the division, guess that makes you a fanboy and a lover of the Vikings. Sorry you flew off the handle with my JJ joke comment. All I did was post a team's record with and without one player. You are the one who started adding context and tried deciding what I meant with it. That's all on you.

Did you read the definition? A group or set of 10. "the decade of the twenties". You want to define a decade starting in 1993, so you could throw out Hampton from my rebuttal. Because you want to count 30 years backwards from today, and claim that as 3 decades.

Sorry, that is just not how things work. And that is why the NFL itself, puts out its all decade team once a 10 year set is over. The next one will be in 2030, for 2020.

Yes, me saying Jefferson is one of the best WR's today, is the exact same as you telling us all how much you love Campbell and how dominate Moss was. And spending hours arguing with a stranger online, how great other teams you don't even cheer for are LOL.

Seriously, I am not mad about any of this. I just want to see how long I can keep stringing you along! How much of your time, I can have you waste. See just how charged up I can get you. And it seems pretty charged up! Keeping taking the cheese! I still have 2 more hours at work, and need something to do. Keep dancing monkey!

Because I don't feel like quoting all of his comments, Grid has called me weak for talking about players on other teams, a fanboy and fangirl (because he's sexist), and a lover of other teams.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I would just like to point out that Grid's first comment to me during this recent dialog was him rushing to the defense of another team in the division. By his own standards, I would say that makes him all of those things

Ah yes. The example they used was the 20's. That is how they are classifying that period of 10 years. That specific block of years was called the 20's because they all share the theme 2x

Do you realize how stupid you sound with your "I'm just stringing you along" comment. You're doing the same thing I am. You aren't different. You think I'm upset, I think you're upset. I guess neither of us will really know.

You fell for my comment hook, line, and sinker. And the best part of it you aren't even a fan of that team! You got so worked up, hurling insults, making fun of the state I live in, because you are incapable of actually having a respectful back and forth. Keep dancing

Keep dancing indeed! Seriously, do you have alerts on? Or are you sitting here hitting refresh, to see if I posted something?

Me saying Jefferson is a good receiver, is the exact same thing as you spending days on here reciting every accolade you can come up with, for a team you claim you don't cheer for. Makes sense to me!

Its OK that you love the Vikings & Lions so much, you want us all to see just how great you think they are. That is totally cool dude! Just don't act all ashamed, when it gets pointed out to you.

Dont come in here saying you are a Packer fan. Then gush over the stats, players and wins of two rival teams. But if you must, then stop considering yourself a Packer fan.

Attention everybody, by decree of King Grid, Lord of Football Universe, if you ever cite the stats of a team other than your own fandom, or a player not on your team, you must immediately give up your position as a fan of said team! King Grid hath spoketh!

It's perfectly fine that you know nothing about football, other than your beloved Bears, the little brother to the Packers since the NFC North was created. There's nothing to be ashamed of when you make stupid comments and someone rebuts them.

If I wasn't a Packer fan and had to choose one of the other teams in the division to be a fan of, based on the last 30 years, it sure as hell wouldn't be the Bears. Oh, and don't think I didn't notice that you left out the Packers when you made your comment about how'd you'd take the Bears last three decades over the Vikings and Lions. I was going along with what you said, you didn't give the option of being choosing the Packers.

Again, so sorry for being able to admit that Randy Moss and Adrian Peterson were a couple of the best players during their eras. Guess that makes me a Vikings fan?

FYI, it took all of about 30 seconds to hop on Pro Football Reference to get all of those stats about the Vikings and about 1 minute to gather the HOFers.

Remind me, who responded to who first? Screw it, I'll just tell you. It was you. You fell right into my trap. And I've just been stringing you along ever since.

I officially accept your nomination as your King! Let today go down in the annals of the NFC North thread, when a King has officially been named!

I will do my best to be a righteous King. But let it be known, if you are going to spend hours of your days typing away and arguing the merits of opposing teams, and not just those of your own team. You will forever be branded as either a traitor or poser.

Jaire fears Mullens and/or Jaren. I would too if I thought a duck was flying at me instead of a football. Man, I miss Kirk.

Don't you dare ever make a positive or neutral comment about any team other than the Chicago Bears or a player on an opposing team.

Seriously, GTFOH trying to tell me who or what I can talk about here. Sorry you're a little baby that can't fathom someone being a fan of football in general. Cry more that both the Packers and Vikings have had way more success that the Bears over the last 30 years.

I didn't say anything about positive or neutral comments, in regards to opposing teams being abolished within my kingdom. But you wanted to swing from some nuts in here. And they weren't the Packers.

I said, and I quote "if you are going to spend hours of your days typing away and arguing the merits of opposing teams"

Don't be mad at me that you wasted days bragging on the "success" and domination of the Vikings and Lions in here. Although success is being loosely applied to your posts. As your argument that winning the NFC Title is second to losing more games in the NFC playoff. But you get my point.

But I like your moxie. You can be my Jester. You are now free to leave! The King has spoken!

The Browns are not an opposing team of the Bears. They don't even play in the same conference. And I certainly didn't post that, in the NFC North thread.

Also, I said you could leave. You have my permission!

Every team in the league is an opponent. They played each other two weeks ago. That makes them an opposing team.

And every 4 years, when the Bears play the Browns. I wont say anything nice about them that week. Considering the NFC North plays each other 6 times each and every season, we cannot allow that sort of leniency in this thread.

Sorry. If you don't like my rules, you shouldn't have voted me King.

You spent hours defending the Vikings. You should probably stop talking.

Fine, you want success. The Packers have 2 Super Bowls in the last 3 decades. How many has your team won in that time frame. Hey, real cute that the Bears made one appearance there, all it took was not having to face Green Bay in the playoffs.

It's okay that your a Browns fan. No need to be embarassed.

He disobeyed direct orders from his superiors.

Disorderly conduct hurts morale of rule abiding players and encourages more acts of rebellion.

He almost had it so that the Packers deferred both halves. lol!

Alexander called tails and won the toss. He then said the Packers wanted to be on defense, which is not the same as choosing to defer their choice to the second half. Referee Alex Kemp could have taken Alexander's call to mean they wanted to kick off, which then would have allowed Carolina to receive the ball to start both halves.

Sorry, forgot to throw the /s at the end.

As you read the stories about this, you really start to learn that the captains out there are just for show. The refs talk to the head coaches before it happens and know exactly what they want should they win the flip.
