Who here plans to list theirs FS once they get shipping confirmation? I’m debating on doing it at that point or holding.

If I get 12, I'm listing 6 and ripping 6.

If I get 6, I'm listing the 6.

This is more than likely what I'll do if I get my 4. I want to see some of the breaks first. Plus, that means less sealed boxes available on the market.

I'm going to hold for a week or so and see what happens to pricing and try to track bigger names as boxes are opened. In the end I'll probably open 1 or 2 of the 6 I have coming.

We need some people to bust the boxes.

Reduce the supply

I think I am selling 4-5 at release and then holding the other 5-6 for a few weeks. I'd hold all them, but I bought another Giannis silver when I was drunk by accident haha. I don't envision I bust more than 1-2. I won't bust until the bulk are paid for out and shipped. If I start ripping one I'll rip all 10

Realistically I am new to Prizm. What are some of the cards that are going to be big time outside of Lonzo and Tatum?

Almost everyone else in the draft class

Actually though, deeper than the Marianas trench

Lonzo is "big" because of the hype, not that he actually is a big time player. If you hit him, you make $$$. That's how it is.

I love Prizm, but at 300/box, good luck. People are acting like there are multiple generational players in this draft. There aren't.

That's how I feel... I'm totally confused this year. Hobby hype is through the roof this year but I haven't read much saying that it's a great rookie class. Normally I see a lot of articles for big draft class and the hobby hype is on the same level. Seems different this year and I'm not sure why

In the past couple of years, the rookies popping out as superstars have been those who went under the radar without any pre hype. Because of this, I think people are starting to speculate anything and everything. There was no real hype talk in 2012 about Kawahi and how good he would become. 2013 with Giannis?

That coupled with with the prizm phenomena you have a great recipe to drive prices up on speculating. Potential of a player breaking out with the potential of a brand/set that seems to be very popular. Just because we havent read any hype about how good a player can be, doesnt necessarily mean there wont by any great stand out players down the road.

Where was the Blowout buy price of $250 per box posted? I never saw that but many referenced it here.

For me, I don't care what gets written, I watch them play. So far, none of them impress me.

Always those sleeper picks in Prizm we can't predict. A lot of the big Prizm cards now weren't stars during the initial release. Sort of become the BCDP of Basketball.

The official Blowout account literally posted right in this thread saying they would buy 'em at $250 a pop.. too lazy to find the post #

Then we are not watching the same thing.

How can you not be impressed with Markkanen, Kouzma & Mitchell (to name just 3).

The impressive part is that doesn't even mention the "top guys", which is what talks to the depth of the class.

I’m predicting $500 as the high point for these boxes.

Agreed. Especially, if the insert sets aren't included in the /8. That would be huge. Less boxes out there and better odds

At $500 I'm a seller of all 6 of my boxes. I'll probably regret it but I can but some regular boxes and have money left over.

Singles at that point. I am not sure w/o hitting a 1/1 or ball you're gonna see $500 back. Possibly a few other names, but its a slim list

You can buy a lot of silvers for $380/box profit.

Would be nice to get ~2800 for something that cost 720. Thats an awfully nice jordan or lebron auto for FREE.
