There is absolutely no way we could afford private school especially since my wife is looking to retire next year after this final delivery order ends. She is working on getting Nationally Certified and wants to get hired on by one of the local ambulance companies as an EMT. Even with her retirement pay, she will still take a huge hit money-wise. (will help on taxes though).

Am a big public school advocate but many private schools have financial aid availability.

And with her working as an EMT a lot have first responder tuition rates.

Ya might have to have the firefighters come do a show once a year, but ya can swing it.

The Christian Academy in Waldorf is $9698 a year plus other fees.

The one in White Plains is $8113 a year plus other fees.

Not cheap.

Seems high but I guess it depends on the area. My son goes to one and it is less than $3k a year. We belong to the church and he does get a scholarship which helps out on the cost. He is now a freshman and been there since K4. Best move we ever made. only about 50 students enrolled in the academy

It is very muggy at the campsite. It is also moldy. Lots of leaves down already and there has been a ton of rain here. It is not a good combo for my lung disease. Still hanging a nice time. Walked almost 10k steps.
