Ohh yea... it'll get shuffled....

Point is, I don't see a total rollover team in the AFC playoff picture.

I think there are some teams weaker than others, but playing an extra game vs the Browns or the Titans has a chance to grind up your defense.

Awful news... This has been the best RT in football for Mahomes tenure

Sucks. That being said who are the top candidates to come back that are currently injured ?

I am a Mahomes fan and cheer for them to win. But I don’t know the O line or much outside their studs on O and D

Exactly, gotta be careful with Remmers now.

Andy confirmed key guys won’t play this weekend. So if that doesn’t mean PM15 then idk what key means. I am guessing him, hill, Kelce, Watkins, fisher, and maybe Remmers if he isn’t 100% healthy. I think depending what they do with Bell will tell you how well CEH is coming along. If he’s in doubt for Divisonal I don’t see Bell playing.

On defense I’d assume Clark, Jones, and Mathieu for sure. I could see them giving the corners some time too to get Deandre Baker, Fenton, and Keyes more reps.

I think the only two in doubt are CEH and Schwartz. Everyone else is fine by Divisonal

As a Packers fan, I was thrilled. Best game they’ve played all year. And considering it may have been meaningless as next week is likely still a must win, I was happy with the way they came out. I must have missed an earlier argument as to why packers fans would be furious though.

Reid has done this long enough to know what he needs to do with his guys. There is much more to lose than to gain by playing your Studs week 17. Chiefs were down big in the Divisional game and down against "King Henry" 14-3 in the Title game and we saw how both of those turned out. They don't have to start fast to beat a team by 10 points, which is why I lean towards Andy being less worried about Rust vs injury.
Andy Reid is one of the most under-appreciated coaches in all of sports history in my opinion. As a south jersey guy I watched the eagles teams he coached. They were the most prepared team on the field every single week. His ability to formulate game plans, script early plays, and prepare his players for what they will see is second only to BB in recent memory.

Reid's problem was positional evaluation.... he put little to no value on linebackers or wr's in philly...... and ultimately they were rough housed by more physical teams when it mattered like carolina in 03, tampa in 02..... he also struggled at times to deviate if a plan wasn't working....... BB outcoached him in the second half of a super bowl where the eagles were clearly the better team

taking that info with him and moving to KC....... i think he changed how he thought about offense and how they needed explosion........ he saw donovan and alex smith and likely saw some of the same arm talent issues with either strength in smith or accuracy with mcnabb........... he picked his guy in mahomes and ran with it

he made the right adjustments in the second half of the super bowl and they won........ whatever pressure he had is GONE..... and frankly if i had money to make 1 bet for the whole rest of the nfl season... that bet would be the chiefs winning the super bowl......... when they get behind big they score quick and often and by halftime they are ahead..... when they play slow they hang around and in the end mahomes and reid will beat you, period...... i dont care if they have a winning margin of 10 points total for the last 10 games..... i would not be betting against this coach and qb combo when they show they currently are and have recently been the best

Mahomes stuff doing well....

Last 2 PSA 10 XRCs both went for over $10k. Obviously, ultra high end is doing great as well.

Regardless of if he wins MVP or a Super Bowl, this season has established him as the NFLs biggest young superstar and new league golden boy.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to prices when the seasons ends, whether it's with a win or a loss. Remember, last season he won SB MVP and his stuff plummeted for 2 months.

Since it has been dead in here recently, I figured now may be a good time to ask. Anyone have an idea what this is worth now?

Last camo to sell was a BGS 9.5 in May for $7,200

Seems pretty high for a 9, I’d guess closer to $10-13.

I would agree with the 10-13 range. Optic black PSA 9 /25 sold for 7k recently at open market. Prizm double the value sounds about right.

Optic Holo PSA 10 seem to be on lower end of Mahomes spectrum.
I would of expected the Holo to move a lot more than current sales.

I just watched all of Rodgers' passing plays from the Titans game (thank you, NFL Gamepass). He looks like a shell of himself. Dead looking passes, dump offs, a few nice passes sprinkled in (coincidentally, when thrown to Adams), but not a threat to the entire field like he used to be, not even close. Happy feet with a whisper of pressure, his INT was a complete boneheaded throw across his body.

His 1st TD pass was a lateral throw (and a great effort play by Adams). His 2nd was to a wide open St. Brown on a long developing play (i.e. lots of time in the pocket), his 3rd was a nice fade to Adams in the corner of the Endzone, his 4th was a nice play by Adams to get open in the back of the Endzone (and Rodgers is just standing still at the 12 yard line with nary a fingernail in his face).

Am I supposed to be impressed by this humdrum offense? Is this efficiency? It's an extremely safe offense (that thrives because of the efficacy of the running game) and doesn't really give me the warm fuzzies about Rodgers' numbers.

I'll continue to post more of my analysis on a game by game basis to give more context to my points, thus far, the first few plays of the Carolina game aren't exactly giving me any doubts to what I have already posted. A dead play because no one was open, a swing pass to Jones and Jones rips off a 46 yarder on a poorly gapped 3rd & 1. Whoopdedoo. A damned near lateral, 1/2 yard positive flip pass to Jamal Williams for 12 yards. Lazy throw to a wide open Tonyan in the flat that should've been a TD, then a follow up throw to Tonyan in the flat who is open on a pick route at the 1 yard line.

The bootleg miss to Adams on a post route is not normal. Lazard dropping a pretty ball at 0:16 in the 2nd doesn't help, but that was his best looking ball so far.

I'm going to stop for the night, this same Panthers squad had McCaffrey for their game against KC and made the Chiefs earn that win. Mahomes annihilated this team on Defense. He also shredded the Saints Defense.

The more I watch, the more the Packers offense reminds me of the late stage Brady Patriots. They're making up for a depleted arm by limiting the down field attack and tons of high percentage throws to better athletes. This is an extremely safe offense and it is no wonder his turnovers are down, he's not taking high risk throws any more.

Get mad if you want, but come at me with real observations, not feelings or impressions. Quit obsessing over numbers and watch (pay attention to them, not just import them into your eyeballs) the games.

If I had the setup, I could do play by play breakdowns showing the gulf in OL talent and efficacy between the Chiefs and Packers. But alas, I work full time and don't have a green screen, telestrator or the desire to do that much work over a hobby.

Post this in the MVP thread if you want to ruffle some feathers...

Here in the Mahomes thread nobody is going to have to much of a reaction.
