People are out here paying ridiculous prices on Yamamoto acting like he's Ohtani. This one hasn't even ended yet! Don't they realize this is pop 6 because the flood of grading them hasn't hit yet?

The hype train is just crazy right now for obvious reasons. I can't imagine there will ever be a better time to sell than between now and Spring Training unless the Dodgers win the WS.

I listed my base chrome for a 24-hour auction starting at 99 cents the night he signed with the Dodgers. Sold for about $70 USD. Hard to imagine this card will be worth that in a few years when he's got countless MLB cards.

Any ideas on the genesis of this Ohtani superfractor. Appears to be from a TC NPB product from this year but there has not been a TC NPB to date. Was this a backdoor special from a future product, a made up card or something else. Was posted on Mercari but taken down.

I also see Roki prices going for some really high figures. The hobby loves 100+ heat, but is tough on pitchers in the long haul.

I personally am surprised that murakami is getting less traction. He may be a chubs but he is the NPB home run record holder in his early 20s, due to be posted in a year or two.

I got $200 for a PSA 10 base paper Yamamoto. Sold in like 10 minutes, I guess I should've asked for more. Hard to pass on that kind of return though.

Murakami had a bit of a down year, probably a good time to buy. Yamashita prices have been climbing fast lately...I'm curious about the potential of Chusei Mannami.

I'm here prepping my PSA sub and checked out the 'ol Shohei BO thread to find out ya'll must have a spycam in my living room!

Yamamoto - check
Roki - check
Murakami - check
Yamashita - check

And it wouldn't be a Shohei post in the Shohei thread without Shohei cards. I'm on the fence about sending his doggie cards in, there's sure to be a flood of them.
