I'd hold those too. 4 years ago Lebron Topps BGS 9s were easily picked up for $20.

Low end can skyrocket too!

It's fun dealing with these BD lowballers. Got a nice Giannis RC on BIN only; people keep messaging asking for it cheaper stating random reasons and old comps. I keep raising the BIN every Bucks win and they keep raising their offers, now to the point of the older BIN price. The nickle and diming is real. Oh well, hurts them more. Mostly comical at this point.

Dunno why it went so low since the last one was almost 170 but I will take it.

He could do this during the regular season if he wanted to.

He has stepped up his game in the playoffs when his team has needed him to.

One win away from the ECF!!! Let's finish this off in Milwaukee.

The guy is insane. And only going to get better.

Serious remorse at not buying into him in October last year. Prices must be up 300% across the board. His 2014 select autos were approx. $400 from memory and they ain't exactly a nice looking card( crooked stick-on autos). I don't even want to look now. His Immaculate/Impeccable/ NT stuff looks magnificent.

What a player.

Also, I remember on First Take late last year some weren't even ranking Giannis in the top 5 (LOL). I think they were getting a bit freaked out that between Yiannis, and the emergence of Doncic, that the local lads were going to lose some of the limelight. That time has come. The Freak is currently the best...or at least equal to KD in terms of raw ability.

Just year or two ago there were talking heads saying how Embiid and Anthony Davis were the future of NBA and Giannis was after thought to most of them.

Interesting article about his experience in Greece. I didn't realize that country treated him and his family so poorly despite that he was born there.

Apparently they only gave him citizenship right before he was going to the NBA. Greece seems like a bunch of douches.

I’m a C’s fan and has he put on a clinic. I hope he wins a title someday. Humble on the court, when he got that 4th foul (which was bs) he just put his head down and went back to work. Class guy. Why didn’t I listen to my son when he was drafted??????? I’d be in the money.

That Optic Choice Dragon is pure fire.

Freak is appropriate. Randy Moss... Giannis. Giannis has earned it.

That article was an interesting read. Greece is now off the list of places to visit.

Hehe that's a good idea. He's just a straight freak.

I got peeved how they didn't even give him citizenship until right before the draft and suddenly tried to claim him as if they hadn't been treating immigrants like ass before he was going pro.

Lol. You are dredging up some long dormant 'prejudices' of mine. I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. A city with the then largest Greek population outside of Greece itself. 23 of the 30 kids in my grade 5 Primary school class were of Greek descent. I also worked with many of them when I joined the workforce. They can be a lot of fun but you wouldn't trust one as far as you could throw him. No real Greek would dispute this, as they don't trust one another and quite often loathe each other.

I've had some of my biggest laughs with Greeks as they have a great sense of humour and drama. However, if invited to play cards at Jimmy's or George's, politely decline. You will be fleeced.

The movie "my Big Fat Greek Wedding" was propaganda. They mostly played up the good bits and made light of the less savoury aspects.

In Greece ( prior to their economy collapsing - mainly due to tax evasion) if a family member died, and they were collecting a pension, the other siblings would get their pension( talk about an incentive for murder). Also, when you lodge a tax return in Greece the government adds on 30% to your declared income. This is to off-set tax fraud, a sort of national pastime. A friend of the family ( a doctor) worked in Greece for a number of years. He lodged his annual income tax return - an honest one. He was hit with a massive bill. He disputed this and they told him: "Yeah, but what did you really earn"? The assumption is that most citizens only declare a portion of their income so the government adds on 30% from the stated amount. A kind of cheats' tax.

I'm not quite sure what a douche is exactly, but I doubt Greeks are douches.

They are good company...if not a little dodgy.

Some of the points that it makes are very true, however it definitely does not represent the way that the majority of the Greek people think and operate. There are definitely a lot of racist people (heck in the past few elections about 7% of the people that voted, voted for the fascist party), however it is totally unfair to categorize people and group them together as far as what their beliefs are and what they stand for. You can find people with the same beliefs in all countries as far as I'm concerned. The financial austerity there though magnified some of the issues.

Some of the stuff that were mentioned regarding their mentality and not trusting each other are 100% true and I am personally not proud as a Greek person for the way Greeks conduct themselves I would say most of the time. As for the tax thing that was mentioned it is 1000% true that every single individual that works in the private sector commits tax fraud (so messed up), however it is very rare that officials will even catch it (corruption at its finest); and I have never heard anything before about a 30% up-charge during the tax return process, it must have been something unique and unfortunate that happened in that case. As for Giannis' passport, I 100% believe he would have gotten it eventually, however due to corruption and bureaucracy it would have taken forever. Due to the fact that he would represent the country in the NBA draft everything was accelerated.

At the end of the day, I think there are a lot of people there living in their bubble and have a certain way of thinking, however I would definitely not categorize the majority of them as racists or anything close to that. I would not recommend to anyone to move out there (I left anyway lol) due to the effort you have to put to understand their mentality and go along with it. However, I would most definitely recommend visiting some of the great islands and historic landmarks that the country has to offer. If anyone is looking for any suggestions feel free to hit me up lol.

I grew up in a greek neighbourhood. They have been around me my whole life in school and neighbourhood. Ive been to Greece 6 times as a tourist and a guest of a greek family. They are the nicest people ive ever met and grew up with. I confirm this as a citizen classified as a minority!!
