This thread has come a long way since 2019 - and even further from some of the even earlier threads that are now embarrassing to look at. A lot of people also sold out when things turned green in 2021, including OP. Posting early about Ohtani is not necessarily a good thing .

This is just the beginning of the Ohtani legend. All the projections preseason are light and have him hitting sub-40 home runs and sub-.300 avg. That may not align with hobby expectations but I would wager he surpasses it.

I'll say it again - OHTANI IN OCTOBER. Strap up! There's more room on the train.

Been around from the beginning. Never sold my Ohtani’s but stopped buying him after the first TJ. Started buying again after 2020 and haven’t stopped. I also believe that the best Ohtani has yet to be seen and with this organization he should shine!! Can’t wait. O.I.O!!!! Let’s go

Thanks guys! A true thrill to crack/resub but it doesn't always work out. Still have some slabs that I take out and try to convince myself to crack but am just not sure through that cloudy baggie . Will probably just move the non-PC ones this spring

Is there any worse value than Topps Dynasty? Can you imagine hitting this Ohtani Trout ending tonight and then selling and it not even covering the price of 3 boxes.

Bought these years ago when he got hurt paid $5 for both. Actually forgot I had them, was looking in my boxes for some cards and found these. Sent them off for grading and got them back last week.
