Did you reject the return? I was always curious what would ultimately happen when someone rejected it.

I wonder....could you accept the return, make him pay for the return shipping + deduct 50% of the ending amount....then resell for original amount? That's a game I would enjoy playing.

Or just reject....I don't believe you accept returns, so that reason is not a valid reason for a return. If he waited for the item to arrive, said it arrived damaged, then you would have to take it....but not for "ordered by mistake". eBay states that they will remove any negative/neutral feedback left for the seller in this situation.

I sent a nice message about not being able to accept a return on the item - the package has only had 5 business days because of the holiday and day off yesterday, so not likely to have been delivered. He ordered it on the night of the 30th and I dropped off next day.

Surprisingly I have not heard back.

He has nothing to ship at this point, but maybe I should make him return it. It's a low end card - $4.24 delivered via ESE. If he wants to pay to return in a bubble mailer, more power to him.

It looks like buyer just selected the wrong thing then. Should be filing an INR, not INAD…perhaps a novice ebay mistake. (Not excusing the no communication prior or not waiting some more time first, but if they actually don’t have the item after some more days, it would be a legitimate thing to be asking for a refund/filing for INR).

The return reason was "ordered by mistake" - I actually let them know to contact me if the item has not arrived by the expected date.

Just a heads up for anyone else trying, I had to use all lowercase letters to get it to add to the block list.

I had a buyer send me pictures and two questions about a $2 with shipping included card. Three separate pictures taken to show every negative aspect of a card I would profit about 70 cents on. I don't block many people, but that was just pure insanity!

Looked at feedback left for others and I can see about a dozen negatives left for other sellers when a sub $5 is not up to their standards through high magnification. A $2 sale for a negative because they don't think the card will grade a 10 is not worth it.

Guy purchased a transmission two days ago and today filed a return saying "I received one from Amazon the day before do not need this one" he left me feedback "It got here in one day, it works like it came from the factory on the machine. Excellent I appreciate."

From Me : I sent an offer thru EBAY Offers of $10 to him.

How’s it going. Can you help me on the shipping?Any way to just throw it in an envelope for a $1. Thanks much

so some clarity as it wasnt asked
(so shipping cannot be change because ir was $4.22 on the item GA. )

From me :Sorry Item would be shipped Ground Afvantage which means Bubble mailer with tracking

Now from the buyer :Can you do $8 for me then please?

I am over this guy offer was sent and is a seller on ebay also so they should know you cannot send another offer and you cannot change shipping on offers after they have been sent. Item is a $15 on sale item and this guy is just pushing for more. I have blocked and plan to ignore now.

The block is understandable for the tedious back forth for a $15 card, but wanted to add onto this point, I have run into this issue with some negotiations before. Usually it’s I have outgoing seller offers and then some guy is messaging me trying work a price.

So you can’t change most of the listing or send new offers with an outgoing offer. The one thing you can do is change the price itself of the listing, that can still be changed. And you can factor in the shipping price into that (although it’ll still say GA for type in this case). In your example if he was asking for $8 and I was ok with that, I would message buyer saying listing will be changed to $8 for him to buy, then he buys it. If he doesn’t end up buying and I changed the list price for nothing…immediate block.

From my experience, it is not worth ever negotiating a sale of a card under $50. Just a headache. A decent percentage of people that want to negotiate the price will just buy anyways if you don't respond. Negotiating has just lead to wasted time and effort for the majority of buyers. Buy it now, ignore messages, and ship quickly is all I do on eBay.

Welp, got my first negative in 5 years and of course it had to be on a $0.99 auction because the buyer was unhappy.

Decided to leave feedback that was laced with lies. Said he messaged me and didn't respond (I responded within 6 minutes of his message), said I didn't try to offer a refund (I offered a return/refund in the first message; hadn't even looked at the feedback yet). And of course, he didn't respond to that message, or an offer to replace it with a card of more value.

Contacted eBay and they removed the buyer's message, but wouldn't get rid of the negative.

I know there's a thread floating around here about how unhinged this guy is. It's too bad I didn't see it until now.

You're telling me! He paid $1.78 for the card and acted like he paid $1,780. He could have just said he was unhappy and left a negative. I have no idea why he decided to lie.

I requested a revision, but I have 0.1% hope that'll do anything.

A customer asked if I had anymore of a part I sold recently so I did an ebay search for the part number to see if I had anymore or if another seller did. Was a bit surprised by what popped in the search. Didn't realize ebay allows full naked pictures of woman to be posted on their site.

Who knew?

The other night I had a guy tell me that if he won his Lakers parlay he'd accept my offer. I'm guessing his bet didn't hit because I still have the card
