Rockets just have so many damn guys that can kill you from 3...and from those who criticize Westbrook's "ball hogging" well take a look at the open shots he's getting his teammates and they just point blank miss..that kind of stuff happens a lot for OKC

Not worth it, the few that simply hate RW most definitely aren't watching the game

Playing defense would probably be a good start. Houston shooting 71%.

And not contested shots.

For god's sake they left Harden unguarded bringing the ball up the court.

Disappointing this game turned into a blowout after Russ sat the first time. But also, Houston in scorching from 3 land. And OKC has nothing to counter.

This game has proven two things to me...

The most valuable player to his team is Westbrook.... Harden will probably win MVP.

Houston is a playoff team without Harden, OKC is fighting it out for the bottom 5 without Westbrook

I think a lot of people just don't watch much basketball....

all they hear are the talking heads saying "this guy is MVP", look at the standings and go along with it.

Although I'm not too upset, if it goes to anyone else, I'm glad it's Harden. Most years he'd be the runaway choice and it wouldn't be much discussion

Why don't OKC build around WB like the Rockets did with Harden. Just imagine his numbers if he had the decent shooters Harden does.

Ya... if you remember last summer a bit of a wrench got thrown into their team building plans.

This is why it boggles my mind when people have the audacity to say OKC and Houston's rosters are near similar...on what planet??? Name one guy capable of going off for 30 points on OKC's bench? Houston has 2 (remember Gordon doesn't usually start). Name me one 3 pt shooter who's as good as Houston's like 5th best 3 pt shooter? It's not even close period.

The better player is more valuable. Pick the guy you think is better, not the guy you think plays in a crappier situation. The most valuable player will always be the best player, if you're the best you are the most valuable.

To the victor goes the spoils so if this is the game that wins Harden MVP I have zero problems with it..but please let's not act like Russ was why OKC lost 39 points on 54% shooting and another triple double. It was TERRIBLE team defense and just hot shooting from Houston in general that did them in

Thankfully the Clipps lost to the Kings today..keeping the hope for 5th seed alive..we really need to get out of the 6th seed to stand any kind of chance of advancing past the 1st round

That's how I see it, but unfortunately voting usually goes along the line of 'best player on the best team'.

Westbrook outplayed Harden by a half-mile today 39/11/13vs 22/5/12.

Westbrook also held his defensive matchup scoreless.
