The IRS audited me this year. Turns out my return was a couple hundred more than I was thought I was supposed to get back. My check came back bigger than expected.

No, he was able to do that precisely because the IRS has not been weaponized. Fireman go where there is smoke. Why should it be any different for IRS agents? If you are looking for people enjoying the benefits of tax exempt status and then violating the provisions they agree to follow when being given such status, there is no better place to look than Right Wing groups. They are notorious abusers of such provisos, and have been for years.

"Weaponized" is not the correct term.
It is their job to prosecute those who abuse our tax code.
Don't want their attention?
Be more careful when filing your taxes.
When people who are guilty of tax fraud so rarely go to actual jail, we can be fairly certain that no one innocent of tax fraud is in jail, either.

This reply shows you do not know what you are talking about. It's hard to enjoy the benefits of tax exemptions when the IRS is keeping you from said status due to being conservatives.
