I have been expecting the Bluejays to have a year where they put it all together surprised it hasn’t happened yet.

Still think that after Cortes' disaster today?

With Cortes and Rodon looking horrible, they are going to have to sign Snell, Montgomery, or Trevor Bauer.

I wouldn't mind seeing Montgomery with the Yanks again. He's proven he can pitch in NY. I can see the other two as potential disasters.

Bauer you could in theory give the min and easily cut him if it doesn't work out.

He's pitched 3 games so far against not the best MLB team's lineups and has gone 10 innings with 17 hits and 9 runs. That's concerning. He looks more and more like the typical Yankees pitcher; 1 great season and done.

And if he pitches great, not one single fan is going to care about his past. They overlooked Chapman until his on-field performance collapsed.

Not a big deal.

Yankees roster depth takes injury hit with Oswald Peraza out at least 6-8 weeks due to shoulder strain

He has had these bad spurts before I expect he will find something before the season starts, if not he won’t be in the rotation that long.

He won’t be missed. It’s not like he adds much when he’s healthy.

Not many options to replace him with after getting rid of Severino, Montgomery, Montas, King, and Brito. The Yankees seems to be able to find great relief guys who can get the job done, but never any starters. I'm willing to bet, Cortes and Rodon will soon find themselves in competition for who is hated more by the fanbase.

Cortes will have to suck a little bit longer as he at least had some success on the mound for the Yankees whereas on the other hand Rodon has pitched maybe 1 decent game since they got him.

Do the pitchers have a side bet to see who can give up most runs?

Beginning to look that way with Schmidt’s 4 run first. The bats are waking up in the second though.

Schmidt is hard to figure out, he can go from looking good to looking horrible in a heartbeat.

First time I am seeing Judge this spring training 0-2,2 strikeouts I am not worried but I would like to see him put a ball in play at some point. But Gleyber is impressing me with his at bats and hustle so far.

Victor Gonzalez just gave up a nice 2 run bomb to left 6-2 Braves.
