Yea, that's the biggest issue I heard at the current show. Everyone is upside down from buying near the highs, no one is really willing to cut losses. Probably good for long term Trout pricing but it means no real sell off/deals to be had in the shorter term. Maybe 8-10% atm but we still have 5 weeks to go.

Exactly. My argument was that they are going to drop more in the short term if they’re just trying to get quick cash. Everyone still sees it as a $7000 card

Shouldn't be surprising. A lot of LCS have/had a lot of old inventory simply because they weren't willing take the loss. Sometimes you need to know when to take the losses and reinvest into something hopefully better. Good time to bid on auctions for Trout. Although bad time to sell him unless you need money or you're not that deep into it in the first place.

from all of you Trout experts..
I know Trout is out now.. hopefully he will be back in late June /July...
..but after many years of trading card accumulations.. I just retired..
so I will be starting to sell off many cards very soon..

2015 Topps Chrome Gallery of Greats - RED version #d of 5 (2/5)

card is ungraded as I put it a a mag holder back in 2005 when I pulled it and just came across it yesterday in a shoe box with other pulls that I was too busy to deal with....

I suppose I will be sending it in for grading but would like opinions or comparables if you have any to help me decide on what to do...
It definitely would be very grade-able ... clean all around..
not able to send pics or post right now as I just got a computer working at home after years of doing all my BO posts from the office. I dont have a camera/phone working now either(yet).
I also have not been on the forums for like the last couple of months.... just been a crazy few months.

I would not be surprised at all if his prices keep going down and are lower by the end of the season. He's very unlikely to win the MVP this year and there are so many other really attractive options for the top tier money(Acuna, Tatis, Ohtani, Guerrero).

The 2011 Topps Finest Mike Trout Cyan 1/1 BGS 9 Auto 8 just got listed on EBay. It is such a cool card. Never seen it before.

Also, if anybody knows who owns the 2011 Update Mike Trout 1/1 Magenta Printing Plate, let me know. Sold on eBay on April 16th this year. I would be very interested if someone is willing to sell.

Just paid 220K cash for a home in OK which needs about 20-30K to finish off the interior (builder passed away due to Covid). I cleared roughly 250K from my home in CA but I’d like to have a little extra cash on hand while I search for a job. What do you think a fair cash offer would be on this?

Wow, crazy card. I see that a 9.5/10 just popped up yesterday with an BO price of $77k. I’d watch that one!
