32 points in an NBA half certainly is something.

The rise and collapse of the Kevorkian Randle connection needs to be studied.

So, if you eliminated OKC first quarter points, they still be up 7!!

Minny 14 turnovers, 13 foils, 12 field goals.

Will Kevorkian even try this second half or mail it in like Yoker to get early mental prep for the Cancun grind?

The lack of fight in these close out games has been telling. These kids are talented but the edge just ain’t there

I completely agree.

You just need a competitive fun series and people will watch.

Who are these big market teams currently that are so great?

NY, meh
CHI suck
Lakers people are tired of LeBron
Boston everyone hates

Indy vs OKC will be far better than those Heat lead by Jimmy finals

I feel that way about Shai and Ant

Shai is like a robot that is really good at shooting middies and Ant can play well when he's feeling good but shrinks when they're down

Haliburton on the other hand has looked like he's got his eye on the prize this entire playoffs

Indy's D gonna need all the mashallahs in the Quran to keep OKC under 110.

My lukewarm take for the finals is that both teams are going to average over 110. Point being: is OKC's defense, as good as it seems to be, going to able to keep Indy from scoring 110 on a consistent basis? If they can, then it will be a short series. If not, then the series will be fun.

I think Indy will average around 113 or so for the series.

The problem is that Indy has yet to face a team anywhere near as defensively dominant as OKC. NY is a sieve, and Cleveland continued to be what they were the final month+ of the season.

And the bigger problem is that even in those games where Indy eclipses 110, OKC has the personnel to match or exceed them offensively as well.

I will give all the praises in the world if they take more than 2 games in the series.

This squad is currently 95-96 bulls pace statistically with Shai mirroring MJ in more ways than 2. People just want to hate on the midrange, but forget that that's how the greatest of all time did it not more than a decade and a half ago.

This was worst the Wolves played all series obviously.
They were in all other games and could have gone either way if they shot better.
NAW, Reid (PO) and Randle (PO) are free agents.
Am I crazy for hoping Randle and Reid leave so the Wolves can use that money to sign NAW and hopefully get some better help that don't disappear when the Wolves need it most?

Seriously though. I find his game to be a thing of beauty personally. With the degree of difficulty on some of his turnaround fade-aways, it seems crazy for him to shoot at such a high clip. I’ve come to just expect the ball to go in. Most people take those shots and you just cringe and wonder who is grabbing the rebound.

He’s not content to just launch at the perimeter like most in the NBA. He’s working in, out, seeing if the defense is going to give him a window to get to the bucket. And if they don’t, he’s got the pull-up or turnaround J in his back pocket.

Needless to say, it’s pretty effective.

Preach, brother.

It's wild seeing all the constant complaints about the new era of spawn camping 3 ball. Yet when Shai comes along and casually dominates all areas of the floor with physicality, it's nothing but toxic foul baiting cries.

I'd much prefer his game over majority of the modern divas that have trained themselves to think they're Curry, when they're not. Shai doesn't try to be anything he isn't, even though he still knocks down the occasional 3 if needed.

I don't see anything that unsolvable about the Thunder. I mean yeah, Wolves would have been an easier opponent and Pacers' would have had a home court advantage, but they have only lost at Gainbridge these past two series.

I would argue, as I have been since the beginning of the year, that Indiana is an historically good team that has the best chance of any in NBA, given its salary structure, of being a dynasty. So like from a hobby perspective, don't expect to buy any dips on the core 7-8 players.

My big question with Nesmith is if the Pacers get down against the Thunder, and he sparks another comeback, is he or Haliburton team GOAT.

Granted, Mathurin is still waiting in the wings, probably actually with the Lakers this time next year. It's like seeing the Wailers before they broke up.

Czetneck Kneesmiff the only matchup that matters.

As always, there can only be one.

I saw that movie. "The Two Percent." Plot was a crazy cross between COVID and a sudden wave of enlightenment.

Let's see if the Pacers can close out on the road tonight.

Congrats to OKC for their Finals run.

TJ McConnel for FMVP

The Pacers have some sneaky toughness about them that maybe OKC hasn't seen yet.

Both teams can run up a score.

I can't wait for this series. Hopefully Indy closes.

Come on ninja, you know better. People love to complain for the sake of it.

I think Pacers have a fighting chance because they are winning games they shouldn't have (Cavs, Knicks series) while the Thunder did the opposite against Denver.

I admit I didn't have the Pacers winning against the Cavs or the Knicks, but I think people are trying to talk themselves into thinking Indy has a chance against OKC. The West is just better. I think OKC, Denver, Minny, and LAL would have beaten anyone that came out of the East.

OKC look dominant but the Pacers have Team of Destiny vibes

Also they have tons of shooters and a great offensive system, neither of which Minnesota had (and the Nuggets had the system but not the personnel)
