No clue because it didn't happen to me, it was just reported in the new $0.75 shipping from eBay thread. Knock on wood, I haven't had to file a PIP insurance claim in over 4 months, and that was for a card that arrived damaged, out of a couple thousand shipped.

Well, I'll have to look deeper in this because as sure as I'm typing this I'm going to end up having this issue down the line. I'll reach out to eBay or Pintey and see what they say.

I purchased a card on 12/8 that arrived today.

The pictures had the card in a 1-touch with a sticker over the top of the one-touch. The card has no reason to be in a one-touch with a sticker (not a redemption, etc.). It's basically a custom sticker or something.

I received the card today and there's significant peeling on the back at the top of the card, right around where the sticker was.

Looking at the listing picture again, the back top of the card can be seen, but there's significant glare.

The card was listed NM or better and doesn't have any specifics mentioning the peeling in the description.

I opened an INAD case mentioning the peeling and no mention of it in the description and nothing to really see in the listing pictures.

The seller responded, ..."Looking at the back picture in the listing it does show something there. My listing also says “Please ask any questions before purchasing “. Now you have also broken the seal. Doesn’t seem fair having to refund."

I asked the seller what I was supposed to ask questions about as there's nothing that indicates any issues with the card

Also, "broken the seal" of some sort of custom seal? how else am I supposed to look at the card?

At this point, just going to escalate to eBay if the seller doesn't issue a refund themselves and won't respond to the seller directly, but I had to laugh at their response.

Like, it didn't even cross my mind to ask a question about the card.

I'm not one of those, "are there any significant issues with this card?" people either.

I would say that peeling would take the card down from nrmt to g-vg . The seller may have missed it, but in this case I doubt it. Should have been listed in the listing.

Got a case on an ESE today that was shipped on 12/10 and was out for delivery Saturday and Monday then the guy opens a case Tuesday. Buyer had also left Feedback so I was confused and in my initial response I said I was confused on delivery because you left positive FB , but I also see item is out for delivery to them and do they know that if they have not received it yet that it is the USPS busy season and may take a little longer to receive.

The buyer sends this response: Does the seller realize I can see the message. Forget the request and keep the two bucks since you want to talk to a paying customer that way. "

Guy closes the case seconds later. Talk about triggered.

Does anyone know if there is a customer service phone number for eBay? I looked, but couldn't find one - and the automated assistant only offers the option to send them an E-mail (which they never respond to). I used to be provided an option to call or chat, but those don't pop up anymore.

You usually have to click around for hours to get there.

It’s goes in and out. Sometimes you can’t get the option, probably when calls are backlogged. So if you wait until a different time, like another day, it may work. Or just send the email…I had to do that once before and the response to the email was pretty prompt and they resolved it.

I offer 3 business day shipping:

12 hours after paying on a Sunday:

“Please Ship Thanks O’Bie”

24 hours after that (6 hours after shipping):

“ If not Shipped please Refund and Cancel Thanks O'Bie”

I appreciate the suggestion! Hopefully that option comes back soon. Wondering if maybe they did away with it until after the holidays.

I had some packages I sent off last Monday. All of my ESUs have been delivered. None of my ground advantage packages have even shown that they were picked up. Any advice?

I just got dooped by a buyer for $190+ shipping costs ($95 each way) on a bogus INAD case. But hey its not all bad I can still resell the $140 item and ebay was nice enough to tell me I likely qualify for a $6 shipping fee credit. They certainly are a cup half full type of company especially when its not their money.

I'm going to stuff this feeling down, circle back around in a few days and rage eat the hell out of some Christmas cookies in a few days. Who am I kidding I was going to do that anyways, I love me some Christmas cookies.

I have a buyer who sent me images of a card resting against the blue tape that we use as the seal at the opening of a card saver. The card has apparently slid out from the penny sleeve inside the card saver and might be touching the blue tape.

This is the exact message:
I've never had anyone ship a single card in a card saver and an envelope. Personally, I use top loaders and then at least one piece of cardboard, if not 2. Here's how it arrived, the card is out of the penny sleelve and now attached to the tape..please advise..

I've tried getting a card to slide out of the penny sleeve in a card saver...it's not easy, you really have to work hard to get it to move.

EDIT: Buyer note from the order said this: Thanks! please use a lil piece of cardboard for each side, post office been brutal!

If only it were that easy! I recommended tapping the base of the card saver against a table/counter as it would likely do the trick.

Here is the response to my idea:
No, the tape is stuck to the card, look closer. I would need a partial refund to keep it or just send it back for a full refund. I'm also a seller and just giving you advice as far as packaging.

For reference - if you've ever tried to get a card in a penny sleeve to move around inside a card saver, it is extremely difficult to do. The other fun part is that, yep...he is also a seller...he sold 49 items in the last three months of which around ten are cards. I'm not sure why he feels qualified to advise me on proper shipping but there it is. Clown.

I checked and saw these two from Undergroundcollectibles07

Left as a buyer :
Miraculously arrived undamaged despite only a bubble mailer, post office has been rough!

Received as a seller :
"Shipped fast, but poorly packaged! I will not be making future purchases from this seller due to their terrible packaging."
