Unfortunately I didn’t start buying until the offseason. His Chrome Updates were actually cheaper in the last two months of the season. I’ve got a decent stash so far of Chrome Updates, Some Update Blues, a Target Red, and the Stadium Clubs.

I took them out of the holders and put them one of top of the other and the red and blue are the same length

Ok, good deal. It looks like the top of the blue is slightly bigger. But blue looks much, much shorter on bottom. I’ve owned a lot of these too!

I think they are both net positive because he has a much better chance of winning the MVP in the NL and his WAR will go up playing CF instead of RF. Traditionalists can scream at the clouds all they want that WAR doesn’t matter for hobby value but it absolutely drives MVP voting now.

Would the Dodgers move Cody off of CF? I don’t see SD having an issue moving Margot.

Definitely. Cody had a great year defensively but Mookie is still the better fielder and you always put your best in center. He only plays right in Fenway because of the weird dimensions making right field the more important position to play there

I arguably think that the best defender in the current OF was JBJ which pushed Mookie to right. I'd agree that Mookie defensively is better than Bellinger

JBJ makes alot of highlight reel catches but the defensive metrics all say Mookie by a wide margin over him:

2016-2019:
Defensive Runs Saved: Mookie 98, JBJ 20
UZR/150: Mookie 18.5, JBJ 5.7
Outs Above Average: Mookie 52, JBJ 42

It looks like Mookie asked the Red Sox for 12/$420 million and their most recent offer was 10/$300 million which is quite a joke. $35 AAV is pretty reasonable ask and there's no reason the Sox couldn't come alot more towards Mookie's number. If they don't, there's a few teams that I bet will
