The main reason, if I'm understanding correctly, seems to be that someone would be upset if the person ahead of them picked the most valuable card at that point vs something they'd rather add to their collection. I feel like the problem is the same as when poker players get upset when somebody who knows nothing about the game wins a hand. You can have all the skill in the world, but it won't change the fact that the other guy was dealt a royal flush.

people can talk value all they want. Generally, this is not discussed in the actual draft thread. People usually talk in other threads and people talk about what autos are more limited, etc. Since this hasn't been released, we can only speculate rarity, but most likely if you've heard of the actor, they will probably be worth a little more. Most people do their own research, and it is encouraged to do so, but people who know how often people have signed want to feel like they hold an upper hand, which is fine. Heck post a thread in the non-sports section that says, Ghostbusters Auto Rarity? or post in the existing ghostbusters thread that someone linked above and i'm sure a few people who comment will be helpful or have already answered your question. Just do your research, it'll pay off or just tell the OP to autodraft you if you're really that uncertain.

I guess I didn't mean to ripple the waters.

I do get the point for example if a bunch of non-sports guys bought in to this because they're looking to make a quick buck and then someone is like yeah pick artist "x" over "y" and they're a pick ahead of you and wouldn't have known, then yeah it sucks. (I do hate when sports guys pull like a Mark Hamill auto and ask "he any good?" meanwhile I can't even hit a Baker/Mayhew for my PC )

However, at the same time, let's say I'm pick #25 and it's down to an auto of someone I may recognize from the movie who let's say is a rare signer and more valuable that I'd assume, or a sketch card, which again I don't know too many artists by style/name to know who is a good get aside from if I like the art personally or not, I'd like that gauge of public opinion to weigh against my gut instinct.

I'll just do my homework and keep quiet haha
