So I just opened my claim with pp. They said if I don't receive my package by today that I can escalate the claim..it's the 14th, let me escalate it already!

I called and explained, they said it would be 10 days... said it was going to be an INR claim.

Just said it was related to sports cards, the guy was scamming, and they'll probably be receiving similar complains for the same 'seller'. She (Bridget?) said it would be filed as INR, they would give him 10 days to resolve it, or they'll escalate it and review.

Thought I paid goods, but apparently I sent gift. I filed the claim and there was no mention about my payment method (I did mostly PP balance and a little on my CC). It's worth a shot since multiple people will be filing a claim against the same guy, which will work in your favor.

You can still charge back gift payments.... Just call Paypal and tell them it was a fraudulent transaction.

I have filed and moved it to a claim for paypal to review this case. Basically said

"Service was faulty and not provided and therefore request a full refund as the products and services were not completed."

PayPal may ask for more details but I hope that everyone can get their money back especially the one who has $272 tied up in this...

If anyone ever says PayPal is not the best then they have no idea what they are talking about lol

I called and told her what happened and she explained because I paid gift there is nothing she can do. She said she would send him an email saying I called and want a refund etc which was nice, but small odds. She then was looking at my account I guess and saw I have been with them for a while and do a decent amount of business with them, so she refunded my $56 as a courtesy! How awesome is that.

Thanks to the above posters who told me to call paypal, it worked!

Nice! Maybe I should've straight out said I paid gift (although I wasn't aware at the time I called). You didn't have to wait 10 days.

Wow. Good thing I got on today. Call PP and opened a dispute. But have to wait now 7 to 10 days.
This sucks. Was looking forward to this break.

Any else who might have paid gift definitely give paypal a call. Hope everyone can get there money back.

Even if you were in an old break, id give it a shot, but that might be hard to win.

I would assume so with the break being today, that is, if he even ordered a new case.
