As a Twins fan it is so cool to see Cesar Tovar in the checklist! Joins a Twins checklist loaded with HOFers in Puckett, Killebrew, Bert, Molitor, Kaat, and some fun rookies with Keaschall and Lee

Looks like a fair amount of new things this year. We've seen a Tin Type already, any guesses on what a Daguerrerotype is? Carte de Visite autographs as well. Have Autograph Relics been in Ginter before beyond cabinet or N43 type ones? And ninosaur relics are back!

I think the booklets are still in there, isn't that the dual auto relics & auto relics? Also I did not see main set mini woods, just mini woods of the EXT Rip card exclusives. Hopefully an error on the checklist but who knows - if they axed black parallels from flagship products they are more than capable of other stupid decisions. Also did not notice "hot box" variations so maybe no more hot boxes either. Also did not notice the printing plates on the checklist.

Then again they clearly stated there will be parallels of fillagree cards and they aren't on the checklist either.


EDIT: I see this checklist does not include parallels so I guess wood minis would be parallels and fillagree cards are parallels too.

I was going to mention because of the make up of the box would the box toppers and the jumbo rip card could be gone ?

Topps would not be that dumb to get rid of those things

Lots of dual rips. Hopefully those look good. Single rips have been bad lately. But dual rips always seem to be good

What leads me to believe booklets are gone are the fact that their sell sheet no longer makes any reference as them, they are not listed as possible hits and the fact that the Dual auto relic autos number doesn’t coincide with other years. “ARBC”. Bc stands for book card

Would be very odd to scrub that after many years and call them something else


To be fair though many people in hobby even outside baseball hate booklets so it might be a good change to get dual auto relic standard size cards

We will have to wait to see.

Usually 2 days before release is when singles start hitting the market on eBay

The base set is missing card #s 198, 208 and 215, so only 297 cards + 50 SPs. Wonder what is up with that.

Not sure of a specific time, but according to the Ripped article, they should be available at some point on Friday,...on Topps' website.

Do you know if they were actually made available on the M&N website already? The article specifically noted that they'd be available for purchase from the 24-26th, but when I popped over,...mid-day on the 25th, you couldn't cart any...? Perhaps they went OOS, ahead of the expected/arranged date of the 26th?
