Let’s be honest Edmonton was the Canadian team to get behind, some had doubts but it’s McDavid and Draisital.

That was an impressive series win against Vegas, especially without Ekholm

Well it looks like history was rewritten as Napoleon's army punched out from the encirclement in Waterloo and now have fled to Paris where they are making their last stand...

Historically the Leafs have had historic overtime wins in this situation they also had the historic collapse against Boston so....

I’ll admit I didn’t see Leafs winning that by shutout or at all, but this is where you usually start be-leafing and in the end it leads to heartbreak, I’ve seen it before but if Leafs do pull it out that’s awesome. If the Knicks can make it to ECF in basketball anything is possible lol

Tough fought game 6 for both teams. The Stars got the win in OT to move on. They'll have their hands full with a hot Oilers team.

Wanted the Jets to win so bad after what happened to Marks dad. Still amazing he got a goal after that and somewhere his dad was proud.

defining night for the leafs and the collectors of the matthews/marner/willy era.

I don't do a lot of flipping and other price checking like some of you but my winners/losers so far of the postseason

Winners
1. Rantanen
2. Mcdavid/draisaitl-just keep advancing
3. Islanders/Utah-big lottery movers
4. Quenneville/Anaheim-smart add.
5. Blues-ppl thought they were headed for a long rebuild and almost made 2nd round

Losers
1. Rob Blake/Francis/Lamoriello
2. Bruins fans-fall 2 spots in the draft, sweeney/neely staying on
3. Avalanche-Rantanen to a rival and the bottom of the division is only going to get better
4. Buffalo-another year no plan.
5. Wings-see buffalo

You’re saying Islanders and Utah players went up just due to the draft? Islanders stink so that would be surprising random players just got boosted but I never look up those player prices so it’s possible

Oof, the Leafs have decided to crash out all at once here in the second. Not shocked, but pretty rough way to start falling apart.

Man the Panthers got three goals real fast.

The Leafs getting their much needed first goal early in the third.

Same. And was hoping to settle in and catch an instant classic tonight. Didn't even watch the 3rd.

I personally want to see if the Hurricanes are for real. The Panthers smoked them in the ECF two years ago.

I thought I had accidentally checked Wed score today as I didn’t watch the game, sheesh. Although he never ever gets any of the blame I think it may be time to admit Matthews isn’t gonna lead them to a cup. I’d much rather have a MacKinnon in the playoffs on the Leafs personally. Maybe EDM can win it this year, if they get Dallas out early and other series is longer winner maybe tired but I also feel longer breaks hurt teams as well so who knows

Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart, Seth Jones, Brad Marchand, Anton Lundell, Eetu Luotsarainen, and Jonah Gadjovich all had multiple goals that series.
Nylander 3 (all in games 1 and 2)
Tavares 2.
Marner and Matthews just 1.

"Too many passengers."

The collapse was real for Toronto, and they just don't have that "killer" player to put it away. Game 3 was theirs, and they didn't close it out.

To me, it's identical to the Kings collapse.

Missing the chance to be up 3-0 in a series just weighs on you with endless "we could be...we should be..." scenarios in your head.
