True but unless a person has personally sorted through the entire print run and not found one they can't with undeniable proof prove they never had a chance. Even then all Topps has to do is say exactly what they said at the Topps Conference that they did a quality control check of a random box/case and that 1 was in there.

This is a simple prove me wrong argument.

I just dont see how this holds water if it was pressed in a court of law. Firstly they would have to prove they did in fact insert them (hard evidence), followed by the example of a quality test that proved one existed that the odds are so long on frankly defies their own odds.

I am certain you are correct that the initial defense would make it drawn out but the old prove me wrong scenario would not hold up if in fact they did not insert them.

What product hits will they forgot to pack out next?

Between the QC issues, missing hits - I’m having a real hard time getting excited about a Fanatics license-opoly.

Don't forget the increased Fanatics pricing and wanting to sell more product direct at that increased pricing! Paying more for lower quality...not that Topps was great but at least the pricing until 2021 was solid.

Have y’all noticed no sell-sheets for 2023 products. By now Series 2 is pre ordered. Heritage, Gypsy Queen and so on should have info.

They don't need to announce and plan early these days. You all will buy anything they put out, whenever they put it out. Zero reason to give you a heads up.

I like the Sell-Sheets for knowing if a product has variations, and insert odds over 1:300. I like the tough chases like the gold prisms from Platinum Chrome, and waves from Stadium Club.

The smart play going forward is to wait until AFTER release and buy - pre-sale days are over and there will be plenty of product available after release to pick up at the same price. No need to commit money to pre-sales when no one knows what the product will look like anyways.
