Well, that can't be, there are ... 189 parallels of each parallel subject and every set is guaranteed a parallel so ... definitely finite. You can get a PR estimate (assuming Topps holds back 10% for replacements and "the vault").

Yep - but if you're estimating print run for "total cards" purposes and not just "when will the team set sell out" purposes, don't forget the extra 8 base cards that were in each of the autograph packs (by my math that's another ~79 of each card, assuming they're evenly distributed across the checklist).

To those of you in this thread that have the personal conceriege for being at a higher level...could one of you ask about the the different releases that appear to not have made any parallels. (MLS Week 1 & I think the basketball cards?). I'm not at that level, and general customer service didn't seem like they could do much.

It was an exciting Opening Day from start to finish!


In the Bronx, Aaron Judge picked up right where he left off from last season by hitting the first home run of the 2023 season. The reigning home run king blasted a 93-mph pitch from San Francisco Giants’ Logan Webb which flew 422 feet and over the Yankee Stadium center-field wall on Thursday in the first inning. The Yankees would go on to win the game 5-0.



Over at Fenway Park, Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles made a statement on Opening Day, going 5-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, becoming the first player since 1937 to go 5-for-5 or better with a home run on Opening Day and the first catcher with five hits on Opening Day since at least 1900. The second year phenom would lead the Orioles to a thrilling 10-9 victory over the Red Sox.


We are offering a base-relic card for Aaron Judge’s season-opening home run and an on-card autograph card for Adley Rutschman’s phenomenal outing yesterday afternoon. Instead of offering these for sale in specific parallel levels, we are going to combine all of the parallels together to create two one-card packs, one for each moment. The cards will be encased as they always are, but will be wrapped in an opaque foil.


In other words, the packs offered will be guaranteed to contain the relic or autograph purchased, but with a chance to pull a parallel below the /99 level. For transparency’s sake, the parallel levels will be /99, /49, /25, /10, /5, and 1/1 for both of these packs. There is NO unnumbered parallel that will be inserted into the pack.


Like the other cards this year, each member will be allowed to reserve one of each of these one-card packs. Judge packs are $139.99 and Adley $349.99.
