It happens with all the Finest Flashback baseball sets too. The first week is relatively quiet, and then business picks up.

I think they do and that's a negative not a positive for the set. If the set was good people would be talking about it. They really aren't.

Cardsmiths ran a 20 box break. Adding up all the spots on Ebay they totaled about $3400 BEFORE Ebay fees so around $170 a box. After fees is was more like $145 a box they made under the selling price on Topps assuming they bought it on the website.

They lost money on that break if so.

Another set the baseball guys jumped on thinking they would profit off soccer collectors and I don't think it's going to work out for them.

The set is bad. What else can you say about when even the FIFA FUT guys aren't even throwing money at it with WC products out.

This is a terrible product for breakers. Too few autos and colors so I'd definitely avoid breaks unless I could get in for dirt cheap. It's a niche retro set geared toward collectors and that's where I'm seeing the interest.

Plus who wants to ship out all those box toppers!

I'm just giving mine to my kids - they think they are cool

Topps has tried to turn many baseball collectors to Soccer, GPK, Star Wars collectors etc. just with the sapphire brand. Trying to carry it on with another baseball product. I just hope there is not a FF GPK or Star Wars.

Forgot to add F1 to the mix. And Topps is considering F1 Stadium Club.

I'm not sure where the assumption that people only collect one sport comes from, i.e. "baseball" collectors or "soccer" collectors.

Most people I know collect multiple sports....

A year ago this would have been the hottest product on the market. Crazy what a little time, overproduction, and unfavorable market conditions will do to a product.

I love it and will continue to buy it. There’s one guy on here who is adamant that it “terrible” but I completely disagree. Beautiful cards

I disagree also. This is a collector's product. I love it very much but the ROI is not there. Hope they get back down to MSRP soon, if not lower, then I'll buy some more.

As a baseball guy who has just started with soccer, this set does exactly that. This baseball release in 2020 has by far been one of my favorite releases and produced one of my favorite cards that I own (Whit Merrifield Super Auto). So when I discovered there was a soccer version of this, I went on a search to find a few to break.

Ive been a soccer fan for years (Everton guy here) but never got into the cards. I live in Charlotte so when we got an MLS team, I jumped in head first with season tickets and everything. I've bought all the CLT FC Now cards and am chasing the other parallels as well.

This set is not only great looking but also an intro for me into some of the other great club players that I don't know much about. Ill definitely be putting together a complete set. If I can sell off some parallels/dupes to recoup some costs, then great (any Liverpool I get will be the first to go). If not, I've got a set that looks great in a binder. If this becomes an annual release, then maybe it becomes valuable down the line. Either way, looks like a fun break.

It’s terrible at $160. You can get a Haaland Black for $500 OBO right now.

Appropriate pricing can make any product a good product.

It's a beautiful set and if we had no reference of baseball or football in the past of this set we would be drooling over this. Every card looks like an insert, compare this to Merlin or Topps Chrome and this comes out on top.

Every box has at least one card number to 50 or less. Can we say that about other products topps is putting out there. The box toppers are amazing. What else has any company put out that size that looks that nice?

For the price I think it's a good value, I think at market price right now on eBay it's a good value. When it dries up it will climb. Do I wish boxes were cheaper initially of course but you compare a box of this to $1,000 for a box of world cup prism this just seems like a a good buy right now.

It was available on the topps Us website and took a couple days to sell out because they limited UK buyers to one box. There were a lot of complaints about that. Then they listed it on the UK Topps site and from what I heard it's sold out immediately.

This was not a product that was promoted very well I didn't even know about it until I got the email from Topps that it was available. Usually I hear of products weeks before they're even available. I asked multiple breakers if they were getting any in and many of them still haven't heard of it.

The US just got their orders delivered within the last couple days. The UK will get there's soon and after a couple weeks once it's been recognized and sold throughout we will get a better understanding of the true market. What we have on eBay now I believe is a panic sale for those who wanted to make a quick buck, so grab what you can while the price is good.

That 20 box break from eBay was a thing of beauty, Phil foden super fractor and a red Palmer auto/5. Wow! I feel bad for the breaker but that was an amazing value for the buyers.

I love that breaker -- bid a ton early, and was surprised to have won 32 (almost all cheap, lots of quality defender) spots -- FWIW I hit my exact expectation of 6 parallels (Timber Hyper the lowest #'d).

This is not a favorable product for breakers, as others have said. I think it's destined for mixers, where it'll play pretty well.
