I keep reading about what a big deal it is that there are going to be 2500 screaming Habs fans in the stands on Saturday night. That could also be a negative. The fans would have booed them out of the rink in game 4 and their PP struggles aren't going to play as well in front of fans who will grow impatient pretty quick.

Out of the 8 total goals the Habs have scored 3 of them are on Sandin, if I'm Keefe I'm putting Dermot in the lineup on Saturday, no time for growing pains this year.

Also serves the Leafs right for Muzzin showboating on the tying goal, this team hasn't won a series in almost 20 years and the core is 0-5 in games when they can win a series. Maybe save the celebrating for after winning a 4th game?

marner is a non factor in the playoffs. $11 million a year for him looks bad.

no doubt, Matthews and Marner need to be the difference in one of the next 2 games.

Vegas knocks the second Wild defenseman out with another dirty play. And the refs are only 1/2 on calling penalties on them

AND KAPRIZOV TIES IT AS I TYPE

Very bad defensive game from the Wild tonight. Frustrating, can't expect to win with that. A questionable at best hit knocking Brodin out of the game and repeated shots at JEE all day long certainly didn't help, but D wasn't looking too hot before then either

Disappointing end, but wildly successful season overall. Expectations were low heading into the year, but Kaprizov showed he is the real deal, JEE established himself as one of the better centers in the league, we have 2 really good goalies to work with, and we went toe to toe with a Cup favorite. Things will be looking up as we add Rossi, Boldy, and more to the squad next year

Lots of fun rooting for this squad and will look forward to seeing them back in action next year

Nice synopsis. I didn't get to see them much but I have always thought they were a fun team to watch and I imagine root for as you stated.

A Trotz/Lou team will somehow find a way to push it to 7... with that said, I'm going Boston in 5.

Leafs have done it again - taken it to OT.

Need a little bit of that Caulfield/Suzuki magic.

marner/mcdavid/matthews/eichel/laine. Generation of young stars learning the playoff ropes. If there aren't fans in that stadium monday, toronto officials will never live it down.

throwback performance from perry

pasta and mcavoy continue to assert themselves into the conversation of the games elite.

Man if the Leafs don't win game 7.... So much talent on that team. Campbell is turning back into a pumpkin

Campbell is the only reason that game wasn't over in the first period. The Habs are the first team in NHL history to surrender multi goal leads twice in the third period while facing elimination And win both of those games.

I'm still rooting for the Leafs and love them but I won't watch game 7 and neither will most of the hardcore Leafs fans Ive talked to. At this point it's like being in an abusive relationship, you hope they do well and turn things around but you have to emotionally detach yourself from them because you've subjected yourself to too much pain and nothing will ever change.

Got a Leafs card collection worth about ten thousand dollars and when the Leafs lose game 7 I'm actually excited for seeing what I can sell them for and not having to worry about buying anymore Leafs cards.

I can understand that feeling. I have been a Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics fan my whole life. While the Red Sox have had great success in the past 20 years before that each season ended with a painful loss, some rank with the lowest of the last 50 years. Eventually they did win. Sometimes you just have to get to the lowest point - falling behind the Yankees 3 to 0 in the 2004 ALCS coming off a 19-8 beating, it felt like they could not go any lower. So in a strange way the pressure eased off a bit (at least it felt that way for me) and they rallied and the rest is history. Maybe, the Leafs can win a game 7 when everyone has already written them off.

I will be watching tomorrow... it's not over until it's over.

I still believe the Leafs and Tavares will play against the American teams.

With all due respect a lot of fan bases have had it worse over the years and stuck with their guys and when they won again the most satisfying parts were the stories of sticking with the team despite the issues. Bill Wirtz waged war on hawk fans, the canes left hartford, red sox and reds had owners in schott and yawkey who were publicly racists. You've lost some games. Not a reason to quit and take up curling.

Admittedly I didn't watch just looked at numbers/ tweets but thanks for info on Campbell.

Either way they can't rely on him to carry them. He's always been average at best and that likely hasn't changed even with his recent hot streak. Leafs need to step up

I actually have money on the Leafs but I'd be happy to see them throw this away because it would literally be their end. They're not recovering from this is they blow it again.

What are these "toronto officials" you speak of? They have absolutely nothing to do with fans attending or not.
