9s hardly ever come up for sale and if one does now I guarantee it's going to break $100k.
As for the labels, I have no idea about that.

The rest of the Star Jordans are already in rising currently since the 101 and 117 have attracted more collectors recently. Historically 9.0s have been 3x or more compared to 8.5s. Given the recent explosion in prices it’s anyone’s guess right now.

The one on Goldin should be a 9. It's a great looking example. Wouldn't be surprised to see it go for over $50k with BP.

In realtive to the current MJ market and the low total pop on 101, that was a steal.

Put it another way, would you rather have ONE of the 1986 Fleer that sold for $738k or (15) of the 1984 Star 8.5 ?

And you'll be darn hard pressed to find 15 of them. But you can surely bet that Goldin will have a couple of the Fleer in PSA 10 in the next auction. Over/under at 2.5.

$3500 for a BGS 7.5 84 Star Court Kings is a steal. I just bought a BGS 9 85 Slam Dunk for that price.

The 84 Court Kings, 85 Slam Dunk and 85 Team Super didn't really increased that much since the beginning of this Star run. Within last week, I bought as many high graded Star Jordans as I could but I didn't give enough attention for the 5x7 cards which I think they are too big at first, but suddenly I saw a 85 Slam Dunk with beautiful Michael Jordan in it and that changed my mind completely.
