The label option should be there. I see it on all my cards I have to ship including GPC cards.

How do you even get a label is my question. Cheapest option it gives me is the $3.05.

Thanks for the information! I will check in a day or two to see if it updates on the USPS site at all. They can't scan it in at the post office, but I wonder how it is treated when it travels to another post office.

I think eBay is just charging us stamp price and giving us protection. Here is how I see it. eBay charges about 15% for fees on managed payments. If we buy a 71 cent "stamp" from them it is really 82 cents. They probably have an agreement with USPS to drive the price down to 40 cents per "stamp." So they will make 40 cents on each transaction. Plus more cards will be sold, so high volume. Say the average transaction is $10. eBay would only lose money on this if they had to refund 1 out of 25 shipments. With PWE, the return rate is much lower than that.

I thinkk the machines they send all envelopes read it, you know the ones that put the barcode on all PWEs that are sent.

app or desktop? App often takes a while longer to update than it does on desktop. There are many things on Ebay you can do on the desktop that you cannot on the APP. Like the app requires a cards conditon desk top does not.

I would not be shocked if the reps are clueless about it.

Shows up for me on an economy shipping item. After I had written out and stamped some PWEs assuming it wasn't available if not advertised as such... it's on now, though!!

Looking to list a test batch of $5.00 cards tonight with this shipping option.

Looks like you can do 1 card, in a toploader/teambag in a white envelope for $0.51.

Unless I'm missing something?

Just go in print an invoice cut it out and tape it to the envelope no need to write the addresses.

FYI - looks like this is a "bill you later" option (like FedEx). Fingers crossed the USPS got the memo and we don't get charged $3-4 for each PWE

I was just noticing that. This will put a shocker on many peoples Ebay fees. It will likely be billed once a month.

On a side note one of the clerks who has been working to find out info about this asked me about it when I walked in this evening and he was saying that they do not scan them the tracking is handled through that bar code that prints the machines read that. He said its handled much like metered mail.

Wait...what? There’s going to be additional fees associated with this?

No instead of paying when you print its like a Fed Ex label its billed when it is used and once a month. So if it never gets used you will not be billed for it. That is one way Ebay will likely be able to tell if a seller just printed it and did not ship item.

Just make sure you're accurate with weights and it should be the same price, this is where up charges for "rigid" packages will more than likely happen too (an extra ounce up to 3, after that its a package)

Looks like your shipment is in route. So I guess it is being read as it is transporting. It is silly that they have the USPS tracking as well, that won't be updated...
