If we want to take it a step further, since 1900 he is 5th all time with only Rodríguez (81.5), Ripken (65.8), Arky Vaughn (65.4) and Lou Bourdreau (58.2) ahead of him.

Plus he has 6 top ten MVP finishes, two gold gloves, four silver sluggers, and is in pace for 400 hr and 250 SB. That would make him the second member of that club along side only Arod.

Obviously he has work to do and isn’t a HOFer right now if he were to retire, but definitely on pace in my eyes.

His odds of getting in are looking very good at this point in his career, assuming he doesn't fall of a cliff.

Lindor is still in his prime and likely to exceed 60 WAR this season. He is a HOF lock barring major injury or scandal

I'm thinking that I am going to trim down my small Lindor PC since I don't collect him after signing with the Mets (I was only collecting Indians cards but never look for them anymore and have lost interest) but I need some help on comps for a card. I have a 2017 Stadium Club image variation auto but don't see one listed on eBay and don't see any sold either. Anyone have insight on the print run of the card? it is Topps sealed so it must have been a redemption. I bought it awhile ago and have no idea.

I have 3 Lindor autos and think I'm going to trim it down to just 1. I'm in between keeping the Stadium Club SP auto and the 2015 bowman chrome refractor auto /499, but that card has appreciated in value so it might be the one to go. Also have a 2017 Topps The Mint auto /99 that I'll post as well. just looking for insight on the rarity of the SC card.

Are the Mets just not a team that drives card prices? He's clearly going to be a hof, but nobody seems to care.

Horrible nickname as well, "Mr Smile."

People don't care about the Hall of Fame much these days until they make the hall. The ultra-modern hobby is all about prospecting to find the next Ohtani or Trout. Even Trout prices have been falling. I have been getting great prices on Altuve, Freeman, and Goldy rookies without much competition. I guess people would rather chase players who have a 10% of being in the league 3 years from now instead of players who most likely be remembered in the HOF forever...

Well to be fair a lot of guys making the hall these days are not really going to be remembered.

He's one of those players who is very good but doesn't post buzz numbers like Judge hitting 60+ HRs or Ohtani going 50/50. The type of player who will have price creep versus price leap during playing days barring some playoff success which we saw last season, then suddenly people realize he's going to be HOF and the price jumps. That is followed by the induction bump. A buy and hold over the long haul.
