bringing KAT back up...Orange Prizm BGS Gem just sold for $596 at auction. That's less than a similar Rui Hachimura will cost you. And way less than an Orange Ice Zion, which can fetch up to $1k.

Talent is definitely there, just needs to get traded to a bigger market and/or contender.

Besides Sabonis on the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon is way undervalued (esp w/o Oladipo).
2016 Prizm Orange PSA 10 sold today for $145 to swim

Super bull market confirmed.

Seeing some touting of this generations' Keith Van Horns, Patrick Ewings, and Andre Millers as undervalued is wild.

Aaron Holiday is vastly underrated with Oladipo out and Brogdon not able to practice for two weeks.

Yeah, these eighth men and G-Leaguers getting hyped is really something. How are we going to explain to our kids that people once paid four figures for Jordan Poole cards?

Just saw that. That's insane. It would have been like 700 for me with taxes and shipping but it's still much lower than any similar counterpart. How many players of this class go for more than him?

I know he started playing organized basketball late so it's hard to gauge his ceiling as he's pretty raw but his efficiency DROPPED significantly when he became the #1 option.

Hopefully he progresses from last year but he ultimately might be a better #2 option.

A PF with a 45.9% field goal percentage is pretty rough. I'm not denying his skill though, I've seen what he can do. But I don't know if you want him to be your go-to guy, and not sure he can carry a team to a CHIP (although the Raptors do have a very well-balanced team as of now).

His dip in fg% has been due to the extra 3 threes he's taking per game mostly..

I mean, KG shot 47% and never over 50% until 02/03 so I'm not sure your argument there..

I think he's more Scottie Pippen than Jordan, but how many true no. 1 guys are there that can carry a team to a CHIP? Must be about 6 tops. So your standards are a bit reachy.

KG still averaged close to a 50% FG% as a high-volume scorer (probably a little less). Not to mention, he got significantly more rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.

But you're probably right, my standards are likely a bit reachy. I agree with you that Siakam is more of a Pippen than Jordan. And by no means am I saying that he's poo, but to say he's undervalued, I don't totally agree with that notion. Just to put things into perspective, you can pick up a 95-96 Finest Garnett for cheaper (no TC at the time) than a 2016-17 Prizm Siakam. And as of right now, Garnett's career was SIGNIFICANTLY better.

So I think Siakam is currently overvalued but that can change if he progresses over the years.

His dip in FG% is only partially because of 3's.....

his 2pt FG% is down from .602 last year to .506 this year.

We'll see come playoff time if he's ready to be a superstar or not.

The question isn't if he's a Superstar or not though. That's not what the thread is about. Someone feels he's undervalued. Strong case for it compared to a lot of players that cost more and are doing less.

To me there's only about 6 Superstars in the League, maybe 7 or 8 tops.

Fair enough, but that doesn't mean a lot of those guys aren't overvalued too.

I guess it depends on time frame. If you are looking 6 months is the future you might get one answer, 6 years into the future, another.

If I compare him against players from a different era..... let's just say he has some work to do this playoffs.
