In the tmall version, you'll get 1 gold, 5-6 reds, and 5-6 silvers per box with a lot of those parallels being premier and courtside. You're also not hard capped at 2 courtsides/box like the U.S. version. 1/3 boxes have an auto, and when you do hit one it is 100% an RPA and either a red or gold RPA at that. Print run was also limited to 300 maybe 350 cases meaning loaded boxes. Then factor in how many actually make it out of Asia and haven't been ripped yet. The U.S. boxes have a couple things going for them over tmall. First, three guaranteed hits however in my experience it's usually a $5 auto and two 50cent relics. Would take tmall all day where hits are only 1/3 boxes but always a red/gold RPA. Second, the largest hits in U.S. boxes will be numbered which tmall is not however given the print run of tmall we can fairly estimate the golds are approximately /10 and reds most likely /50 or /88 in tmall. Still doesn't beat actually getting a numbered card and the chance at a zebra case hit but in terms of guaranteed ROI, the tmall boxes are higher given the guaranteed colors in every box. U.S. hobby you could pull a ridiculous Zion zebra but most of the time the result is going to be a much lower floor than tmall. Blowout has sold tmall select at 700/box and 8350/case like candy and I have yet to see their reloads last more than a day. As of now, they're completely sold out again. Tmall SKU is a superior product to the U.S. hobby or hobby hybrid versions, the only question to debate is how high should it be.

It should be ripped by customs for security checking, especially the products are made in USA, and ship from China back to US with high declared value. They seem suspicious to customs. I don't think any broker or middleman will use the effort to open and repack all packs for shipment, even they don't match the contain as case instead of a hundred packs of card.

Was it moved or deleted? Did BO bow to Chinese pressure like the NBA did?

Lol I was actually wondering the same thing since it was my thread. Some of the comments were actually useful since I’m dealing with the customer service right now and some other member were telling me how DHL were requiring them to open for inspection etc. Helping me out to figure out what really happened but then overnight the thread got deleted

Ordered a full case of select and 6 boxes of optic directly from the T-mall site that was the official distributor of panini for this exclusive china release. My cousin used her account to order for me since i didnn't have chinese credit card, she picked one of the rerouting option to have it rerouted directly to me. In USA it was delivered by DHL, and looks like transferred thru YKS international limited which i believe is the rerouting company. I ended up received all the loose packs which was shipping in the original select case box, but no outer box of select or optic in sight. Thankfully all the packs were there, 120 optic packs and 144 select packs. One pack of optic was opened with cards still inside, looks like it was just split open to see content, cards not actaully taken out (so maybe it was customs). And some loose cards of select cards wrapped not found, so i assumed one pack of select was opened to check and then they probably threw away the wrapped and put the content back in.
So here's my theory after thinking about it. The Hong kong YKS distributor in order to save on packaging and weight, opened all the outer boxes optic and the case of select and put all the packs into the case box of select. That way the size of packaging would be small and reduce the weight. They assumed that only the inside mattered, kinda like i think many rerouting service get rid of bulky packaging and repackage the item to smaller box to save money. Then once it arrives in USA, the customs opens the box and select one pack of each to inspect, then reseal and send to me. That makes the most sense to me because i dont see customs actually having to open all the 18 boxes only to open 1 pack of each. Then they would have to go thru the trouble of repackaging the boxes. And then taking off the label and reapply the label etc. From what i see, the packaging was already done and label on from the Hong kong side before it even arrived in USA. So my cousin is in contact with T-mall now since i don't even know we can receive Hong kong distributor (they probably wouldn't understand the situation anyways and wouldn't take much responsibility) I'll update here to let you guys know what t-mall that sold the item say. Since if the item is "damaged" thru shipping, it would be the shipper that needs to file the case anyways. From what my cousin been telling me, the chat line doesn't seems very helpful or responsive when she was going thru the process of buying the case for me before. But as more people are receiving the item, let me know how your orders in came in. I may have just been screwed because of order the select case and then 6 loose boxes of optic. If i just ordered a case of select, there probably woudln't be a reason to repackage it since the select case was already pretty condensed into the case box. So maybe rerouter couldn't find an easy way to package the 6 loose boxes of optic with the select case and dint' want to ship two seperate boxes to USA so that was the best method they thought of. So if anyone else ordered multiple boxes of multiple product, would be interested in your experience. Untitled by Yi Zhao, on Flickr Untitled by Yi Zhao, on Flickr

Would be interested as well if others have trouble with customs. Actually have a few non basketball related things coming in so just generally interested in how stringent it’s getting on the ground. Just got books, clothes, and some extra masks in from China end of last week without any searching or issue and I’m in the epicenter in nyc.
If people are having nightmares getting product in, I’d assume that only helps blowout’s sales for stuff they already have domestically. Weird the other thread was deleted

Customs strike again.
The group breaker who breaks in the room I run on FB just opened his optic case to find one box completely shredded. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

One of the few reasons I dont sell internationally. I think the other thread got deleted because it could have been posted in this thread. No need for everyone to start a thread about their shipments from this release.

I don't get why they need to cut right down the middle with an exacto knife i mean my god. Its like they enjoy shredding peoples items. You couldn't open 1 pack and see that it was cards you need to literally make a $500 box worthless?

My select was shipped from Hong Kong via UPS. It gets to Anchorage and says this is the last update to tracking "A valid ID # (tax, personal, deferment) required for clearance is missing". Spent over an hour waiting to speak to customer service. Horrible service representative that was rude and pushing me off the phone from the get go. I am not a business, I don't have a Tax ID number. He asked for my SS#, I wasn't comfortable giving that out. He said that the seller was supposed to provide a Tax ID# (that didn't happen). He said someone would call me tomorrow. Anybody with experience similar to this in the past with input/advice is appreciated. I suppose this is why people pay inflated prices to avoid this type of scenario.

I'm telling you guys. You have to get familiar with and find a reputable broker that's generally knowledgeable with the item you intend on purchasing if you want to do this in the future.
Tmall itself probably includes very little importation documentation and description of the exact nature of the contents. This is where a good broker comes into play. They receive the product from t-mall...inspect it to make sure it's good...then repackage with additional paperwork specific for customs before re-routing. Any other method coming out of China is a complete crapshoot. And customs goes through a billion packages a day. They don't have the time nor the patience to baby any contents during inspection.
