Too little, too late.

2nd time recently that their fire power came just shy in the ninth.

Nice win in game 1 of the DH. It was all Darvish but since I don’t have a card for him, let’s highlight Rizzo for the two HRs!

0 confidence.

Games over before he even steps on the mound.

I don't know how you can put him in close games anymore...especially with a shortened season.

Went to walk my dog tonight. Turned out Kimbrel had already walked him.

I'll show myself out...

I feel bad for Kimbrel but he's completely useless right now. I was debating Theo's worst move between signing Kimbrel or trading for Quintana ... at least we didn't give up anything besides money for Kimbrel.

He’s made some bad moves over the last 5 years.
Look at the talent that has left the building and questionable signings

There’s our lefty bat.

Jose Martinez, whom I felt like destroyed us every time he played against us.

Wow, 6 bombs today from Schwarbs, JHey, and Happ. Heyward is quietly putting together some really solid numbers with an OPS over 0.900.

Schwarbers grand salami was a mammoth shot

Happ has been super solid

Hate that we rely on HR’s so much

Such a roller coaster lately. Interested to see what moves (if any) Theo makes tomorrow.

First trio of outfielders to each hit 2 HR in same game in history! Whoo!

Another W and another game ball for Happ in recognition of a homer and the GW single!

Nice game from Hendricks but my game ball for today’s win goes to Contreras.

The heroes of tonight. Yu and Willson. Love how Darvish has began the season. Hope he keeps it up and adds a CY to his résumé.

Darvish was a beast tonight and Contreras stayed hot. Another W for the Cubs!

Happ back in the line-up today after missing a game (fouled a ball off his eye).

First AB - another lead-off HR. Wow..

Ian Happ... man oh man.

Looks like Darvish is the favorite for the CY award.

Those two have been carrying this team all year... If some other hitters get hot look out... Lester though, what are we going to do with him??

The Cubs had a great chance to basically bury the Cardinals this weekend. Instead they are right back in the race. Really need to win tomorrow.

I hate the Cardinals. But man, the Cubs haven't been that great outside of Yu starts last few weeks.

It’s feast or famine. They’re awful from behind. And they don’t look at all like it bothers them when they get behind. Seems to be a lack of grit and/or hustle.
