So I've been mining Bitcoin and depositing it directly to my Bittrex account and then using it to buy altcoins. So far have bought in to Digibyte and Siacoin mostly. Have small holdings in Lumen, Ripple, and Ardor. I have about $50 worth of BTC being deposited tonight, any suggestions on a new coin to spend it on? I initially began mining BTC to my Blockchain wallet, but found out these exchanges are alot of fun!
Also...where is a good place to learn more about altcoins? I usually just drop it into the flavor of the day. Seems like I only find any reading on these things once they start breaking out. |

Bitsane sucks, stay away from that exchange. My deposit finally went through this morning after 18 hours. I wanted out of there so i tried to transfer my ethereum over to Poloniex but got a canceled order because it ran out of gas. Funds did not show back up in my Bitsane account. I guess they're lost again in the Bermuda triangle.

Now is a good time to buy altcoins. I believe most have bottomed out for the week. If it follows the trend from the past few weeks you will see them rise on Wednesday. XLM, ADA, XRP all are good bets to go up. It's been a rough 5 days for alts but should be interesting to see what happens.

Was trying to get ADA for the last few days but with Binance being down for new customers it has been a challenge.
I use coinbase for ETH, BTC and LTC but I'd like to get in on a few of the smaller crypto's, frustrating not to be able to buy.

I'm set up on Binance and KuCoin for alt coins. There is no verification process for either and they both have good trading platforms in my opinion. You just need to transfer over ETH or BTC to start trading. My referral links are below if you want to sign up.
https://www.binance.com/?ref=13735221 https://www.kucoin.com/#/?r=7Q5ex5 I primarily hold my alt coins at binance because they have higher trading volumes than most others on certain coins, but I also need KuCoin for some of the less known altcoins like PRL and XRB (which is going to be listed on binance soon and hopefully causes it to pop). All that being said, I would buy WTC, ZRX or XRB if you want high risk high reward. XLM and NEO if you want something that will be solid but probably not 10x in the next year. BCH may also be a good short-term play before the bitcandy fork.

I believe in Ripple. Do i think it will be a $1000 coin? No, the market cap is too high. But i believe it can be a $20-30 coin, maybe even higher. All the talk about it being centralized and not a real cryptocurrency and working with the banks...i get it. But i also see that as a positive. They're a real company and have a real product in the marketplace. Most crypto's don't they're just ideas. Now if Bitsane would stop f-ing aroung with my withdrawal from 3 days ago i could buy more ripple. .....Funds still missing from Bitsane...i advise everyone to stay away from that exchange. Horror story after horror story on FB.

Even if they tried... it would have been a very steep hill to climb. South Korea is a huge part of the crypocurrency market and the vote would have to be a majority of a 270+ people. Gotta imagine a majority of those people trade cyrpto and would vote no. And the people who don't trade... likely have connections with people who do and I'm sure they'd vote no as well.
Looks like Ethereum has finally rebounded from all this mess. Was $1,320 early Wednesday morning and fell to $1,130 last night. Now back to $1,285 and looks to be back on it's steady increase. |

The XRP growth is going to lend itself well to the future of CSC...

NEO is going crazy too bad i don't have any. Wish i got into cryptocurrency earlier. There's so much to learn. Do you guys think 2018 will be bigger than 2017? Im hoping it will. I've been trying to read as much as i can about all of the different ones before making a big plunge.

Every single crypto crashing right now. Not sure how this is possible unless some whales are cashing out for fiat. Something seems fishy about this. HODL.

Yea, I could have bought a Lambo with my losses. The market will come back, people in China dump for Chinese New Year (happens every year). Funny thing is I am still up from last month!

Prices are determined by buying and selling though... if everyone is selling what are they turning their crypto into? You'd think bitcoin or Ether would be skyrocketing. It just doesn't make sense unless the whales are cashing out.
