Its funny if you go back in this thread that one of the complaints from a few years ago and recently is the internet/server problem they seem to have at times.

And it is still going on. All this time later.

Had a batch sent in August of 2020 that was marked 'complete' in December of 2020 upload 2 cards yesterday, now the submission is showing not complete and there are MORE cards to be loaded. What a company....

(They were Tyler Herro draft RCs btw that at the time were several dollars and are now worth a quarter)

if it makes you feel any better, I emailed them in November about an incorrect card I received and they just emailed me back on June 8. it mentioned they apologize but have a huge backlog to get through and if my issue is still needing a response to email them again.

Why do people make an offer, get a counter and then make the original offer again? Why am I going to accept that offer when it was not enough at the beginning. I am just now letting your money sit in purgatory.

They are telling the seller that is the highest they will go. It is the same thing as when a seller gives a counter offer that is the same amount as his asking price. He is saying that is the lowest I will go.

For most people have money setting in purgatory is no big thing.

I do it all the time as a seller. As a buyer I don't do it. I get a lot of buyers who once I don't lower my price, they will lower their offer further than the original, I assume because they're mad. It's not personal, but I definitely remember the buyers that do that because they always eventually try again. I get plenty of sales though for full price after countering with the still full offer price.

Sounds like someone is used to doing it. My issue is that you know that the seller wants a certain price, not what you offered. It is just stupid to offer that same price. Just decline the counter and move on to some other sucker. My issue with the money sitting is just that I hate my screen to show up that I have outstanding offers, etc. It is more annoying to me that way than to have money out there that will not be of use to anyone. I know it is stupid, but it is what annoyed me this morning. On to more important things.

Just got a Jarred Kelenic returned to my account. Figured this would happen since it's dropped in value since it sold back in late May. Sucks that this is allowed as I see it happening often to sellers. Multiple times just this past month alone.

Feel your pain. Just had 8 Luis Robert HHN RCs returned to my account. Good news it wasn't like I sold them at a premium - they are resulted and still lowest price on site. Just frustrating that someone can back out months and months later.

Agree 100%. It also sucks you can't see who the buyer was because that info gets deleted. Also a shame there is not an option to block said buyer from purchasing your cards in the future.

1st thing: I buy only for my PC. I do not buy to flip cards, so my offers are the max that I will give for a card. (99% of the time) I'm not out to find suckers to rip them off. 99% of counter offers I reject and move on. Yes I have done a few same price but just to some sellers.

2nd thing: Yes I know what the seller is asking but that may not be what he will take.

3rd thing: I do not like having money setting out there also, but I'm willing to wait. I do not purchase a lot of credit, just a little at a time. So if I need that money I will cancel the offer.

4th thing: I only return cards when COMC makes a mistake and I find it later and it is still there.

5th thing: This is a hobby for me not like a lot of people that are in it now.

Over a month ago - COMC sends me emails clearing out all of my old processing. Submissions completed. They disappear from my dashboard and I figure I'm all done.

Tonight - two separate emails saying that 1 and 2 cards have been processed but cannot be added to my account because my balance is $0. This is the same day that they sent me my final cash out request because I'd sold all of my cards.

So...now I'm $0.85 in the hole with nothing to sell and not really interested in adding funds.

You know, this is a case where they should float you a $0.70 loan. Worth seeing if they will answer an email requesting they cover. Do you have any clue what two cards are? Seems like a possibility that they are not even yours.

Funny...got my 3 final? cards uploaded from COMC from a lot due on 5/2020. I asked if the lot was done months ago and was told it was all complete and they did upload every card and not to worry about cards being lost. A few days ago I noticed a batch showing 3 cards remaining and they just got uploaded. Full fees taken out and the best part....all 3 cards got condition notes. Even the sketch card. It feels like everything they can do to get you they will. Be on the lookout for extra cards. I can say that I know the sketch card is mine...and the other 2 are the type of cards I send in. Hopefully it isn't anyone elses.

Also to the people at COMC reading this....please continue to upload any of my lost or misplaced cards to my account. I prefer to get them over a year late than to have them uploaded to someone else's account. I tried that and didn't enjoy it. Thanks.
