For those of us taking the latter bet, you almost have to be able to control fury or anger otherwise you will drive yourself mad given that any turnaround from here is going to be slow. Not saying that anger and fury are inappropriate - just that anyone that can't control those emotions is going to be emotionally better off selling up for whatever they can get.

So you aren't going to see as much overt anger from sellers. What you will see is a lot of quiet change in behavior, such as a much higher threshold to buy to flip and a much lower rate of submissions. But the idea that sellers don't know why sales are slow is frankly laughable.

With the increased pricing to .50 for all cards, do you expect people to submit much less of the base commons for set building? Topps 2021 series 1 has tons of listings well below cost to send in (+.25 shipping) so I expect future commons to be far fewer since nearly every one is loss making. Not sure if that will have any impact for set builders or if COMC will return to a lower pricing structure with longer upload times.

Any thoughts?

These almost always get swallowed up for pennies on the dollar by port buyers who then list them for super low amounts. I can't imagine a time where there wouldn't be enough set commons for people to find for whatever they want to build. There is always a seller not familiar enough with the process that would send in everything they had and then realize it was a huge mistake, dump it to someone buying it all up and then these are priced more fairly for that buyer who doesn't mind spending more for shipping (well at least for rushed).

Well I received a reply about my order and I am getting a $4.99 refund for shipping. This is a clown show over there. If I didn't complain a second time it would be many more months probably. They linked me to their page where they have their service updates from April 8th. As a PC collector I need to use COMC, they have what I need. However, I am almost done with them.

Date Requested: 1/2/2021
First Estimated Ship Date: 3/15/2021
Revised Estimated Ship Date: 4/5/2021
Order being packaged: 5/13/2021
Actually shipped: Before I die?

I received my final 4 cards from them today. They were a week early on the economy rushed. My only complaint is that all 4 cards were not in toploaders. They were purchased for under $50 each. I still feel that Topps chrome rookie autos/octofractor rookie autos have high potential upside and should be better protected. Could have been worse, but I’m glad that I am cashed out, and have all of my cards in hand.

My parcel arrived today.

All 8 cards safe and sound thankfully but the only ones with toploaders were the ones from when I used the mailbox service.

So my Black Cat Royal Foil /99 and /10 from FUSM were in penny sleeves only. Boo.

Status: Shipped on 6/3/2021
Date Requested: 2/11/2021
Estimated Ship Date: 4/9/2021
Actual Ship Date: 6/3/2021
Estimated Delivery Date: 4/13/2021

$45 for 8 cards 2 months late. Still trying to get a response for a refund.

Have a few cards left on Epack - notably a full 51 card metal FUSM set but playing the waiting game now.

Finally received my epack shipment from October yesterday. I contected UD on the epack site recently and presumably they did something. Who knows. That's 2 long overdue COMC packages and 1 long overdue epack in the last 2 weeks. It has restored my faith somewhat.

This 'surprised' me, though: The business of putting a printed slip in each penny sleeve seems incredibly time inneficient. It was a pain in the neck trying to remove these from 100+ cards. It might be a way of making sure you get the right card but what a waste of time and ink!

I have 900 of the damn things.Nothing as cool as what you have, though.

I think I'll move the better YG's in one shipment and then think hard about whether or not I want to keep set building and pay good money to bring the rest back( canvas/Portraits/Inserts).

As someone who lives in Australia and loves baseball and hockey I need comc. Without them I would probably not be involved anymore save for the occasional opening of wax.

I agree, but my patience is being tested even more than the grading companies at this point. They need to be upfront with what is going on. I have $70 in the account and I have 200 cards for my PC. I would have put in another $1000 today into COMC if it wasn't such a mess. I am not putting in one dollar until things change there.

I sympathise. 6 weeks ago I liquidated my entire 200 card inventory with an SRP of $1000 for $200 because I was so angry and frustrated at the whole thing. The majority of those cards I had bought with the intention of shipping home.

However, they finally replied to my emails and shipped my outstanding orders. Felt great to receive a box of 250 cards. I have since spent about $350 on their site and once I get up to about about 150 cards I will ship them.

I really hope they can return to what they once were.

Again, without them I wouldn't be nearly as engaged with the hobby as I am now.

This I agree with wholeheartedly.

It was very late but they did recently put out a statement explaining in more detail what had been going on. If only they had been doing that( and replying to emails) on say a monthly basis since the middle of last year. It would've saved a lot of angst and, presumably, a lot of business.

I know several of you price your cards in such a way that when it appears on eBay, it’s not a odd price like $240.87. It may be $239.99. You’d rather have the odd price on COMC than eBay.

How much do they add to the price of your card when they list it? I’ve been thinking about pricing a few of my cards differently so the price is more appealing on eBay.

My "In Transit from US to Canada" originally listed as May 4 has been updated to "In Transit from US to Canada 2021-06-09". I guess that's reassuring?

Good question or any lower priced card. At this point with all the pop up and almost overnight card shows and card shops that are starting to appear people may not be so quick to submit stuff like this to COMC.
